To whom it may concern,

We are respectfully requesting the annexation of 809 Oerrydown Way into the City of Decatur. The property is contiguous to the existing City limits on 2 sides as well as across the street. We have also been informed by our landlord, Robert Smith that an annexation was an option when he purchased the property in 2008.

Our little family of four moved to Decatur in the summer of 2011 from Iceland. t myself am originally from Ireland but have resided predominantly in the USA (where I received my citizenship in 2007), and then in Iceland in recent years. My wife Anna is Icelandic and our two sons Uam (5) and TOmas {2) have dual citizen ships, Icelandic and American.

While I was the coach of the Beat Women's Professional Soccer team we lived in Kennesaw, but heard great things about the City of Decatur. So when we decided on a permanent move to the US, Decatur was an easy pick for us.

1work at Clayton State University as the Women's Soccer head coach as well as being the Director of the Recreational program at TYSA {Tucker Youth Soccer Association), while my wife Anna works for Hewlett Packard.

We have come to love Decatur and this is where we want to raise our family. The quality of life and people in the community are what makes this place so special. Right from the start we immersed ourselves in Decatur life. liam 6\i attends school at College Heights, has attended numerous camps at Agnes Scott and is currently a part of the CrossFit kids program at CFED. My wife Anna, rents office space and works out of Bean Play Cafe, has joined a local soccer team as well as being a member of CrossFit East Decatur. She is also active in the "tcelandics in Atlanta" community along with several of our friends from CCP Gaming (Wells Fargo building). We have established some great friendships here in Decatur and are excited to make even more going forward.

We hope that this annexation will not be seen as a major change for the City since our neighbors already are being serviced by the city as well as that liam, our oldest son is already attending College Heights as a part of the City Schools of Decatur.

I have run several voluntary soccer camps at College Heights with my University players. This was something we wanted to do to contribute at College Heights as well as to encourage my University players to donate their time in helping children.

We have had correspondence (please see attached) with College Heights in regards what was needed in orderfor Uam to move on to Winnona Park Elemenatary. These include several in person conversations as well as email correspondance where we were informed that we had no issues for concern. We did not have an opportunity to enrollliam at another Kingergarden, as we were assured he would be placed in Winnona Park. Now two weeks ago we received a phone call from College Heights telling us that this would not be the case, unless we move or the house we live in gets annexed. Additionally, we were informed that Uam will however remain in the system until the end of the school year.

We are in close contact with our landlord who is a Decatur High and West Point graduate. Both parties are ready to move forward on a sale of the property with a price agreed. Sa this annexation is a big step for us as a family and will take us one step closer to our future in the City of Decatur.

We thank you far your time and consideration, {JOQ,k~ Gareth O'Sullivan 809 Derrydown Way Decatur, GA 30030 /O=OPIN KERFIJOU= FIRST ADMINISTRATIVE GROUP/CN =REOPIENTS/CN =ANNA

Hi, You don't need to do anything for liam. You will be automatically enrolled for Kindg. As far as Tomas he does have sibling preference for the toddler room but as of right now I do not have any toddler spaces open. We have two classrooms of 12 children moving into 2 classrooms of 12 children. I am waiting to get the registration packets back from the current families. They have until the end of Feb to return them. At that point I will know for sure if anyone is not returning.

A native of Ballina, Ireland, O'Sullivan was hired at Clayton State in February of 2011 after most recently serving as the head coach of the Atlanta Beat of the WPS (Women's Professional Soccer) in 2009 and 2010.

While at the Atlanta Beat, O'Sullivan coached USA National team players, , , & ; also present were many top international players, including Japan's captain Aya Miyami, 2008 Hermann Winner , England's and current stars of Denmark and of Switzerland.

Before coming to the Beat O'Sullivan was a professional head coach in the Icelandic Premier League for three seasons. However, it's at the NCAA Division II level where O'Sullivan has made his mark, serving as head coach at Christian Brothers, West Georgia and now Clayton State.

O'Sullivan was head coach for both the men's and women's teams at Christian Brothers from 1997 to 2003. He posted a record of 87-19-3 with the Christian Brothers women, leading the Lady Bucs to three straight Gulf South Conference championships, an NCAA Division II national runner-up finish in 2001 and the NCAA Division II national championship in 2002.

As the men's head coach, O'Sullivan went 61-49, leading the Bucs to the 2000 Gulf South Conference championship and advancing to the NCAA Division II "Sweet 16."

From Christian Brothers, O'Sullivan started the women's program at West Georgia.
