MICHAEL EGAN, M.L.C., TreasurerTreasurer Explanatory note The object of this Regulation is to exclude certain entities from the application of provisions of the Public Authorities (Financial Arrangements) Act 1987. Page 2 NEW SOUTH WALES GOVERNMENT GAZETTE No. 42 15 February 2002 LEGISLATION 831 Public Authorities (Financial Arrangements) Amendment (Primary Production Entities Exclusion) Regulation 2002 Amendments Schedule 1 Schedule 1 Amendments (Clause 2) [1] Clause 57A Entities excluded from definition of “authority” Insert after clause 57A (2D): (2E) The following entities are prescribed as not being within the definition of authority in section 3 (1) of the Act: An agricultural industry services committee constituted by the Agricultural Industry Services Act 1998 Banana Industry Committee A marketing board constituted under the Marketing of Primary Products Act 1983 A marketing committee constituted under the Marketing of Primary Products Act 1983 New South Wales Grains Board [2] Clause 57A (3) Omit “(2), (2A), (2B), (2C) or (2D)” wherever occurring from clause 57A (3). Insert instead “(2), (2A), (2B), (2C), (2D) or (2E)”. Amend form 1 by deleting “within the last 12 months” from item 2(b) and inserting “original” in item 2(c) before “documentation”. Amend forms 3, 3A, 10, 11, 12, 16 and 17 to the forms hereunder.
