The beginnings.... Bikers all over the world have been relying on our pro- ducts for more than 40 years. A problem familiar to all motorbike riders led to the company´s foundation in 1975. The service life of the exposed drive chain on every motorbike was curtailed as a result of dirt, dust and wa- ter getting into the individual chain. Since the o-ring chains were yet to be launched, an en- closed chain case with oil- or grease lubrication was the answer to the problem. This idea was the basis of the company´s success in the early years. The start of the 1980s saw Hepco&Becker develop and design luggage racks and cases. As a result, carrier sys- tems for more than 1000 motorcycle models have been created throughout the years. Even today, there is a small batch production for vintage motorcycles and modern classics. But luggage transport was just the beginning. Our passion for motorcycling is the basis to convert new ideas into new products. Consequently, our product ran- ge has been extended to this day. At the moment, Hepco&Becker is developing and produ- cing a huge variety of different products.
