Fact Sheet North Somerset This autumn we're renewing the railway at Flax Bourton and refurbishing bridges near Weston- super-Mare and Worle. Flax Bourton track renewal During September and October, we will be renewing a section of the railway line that runs through Flax Bourton railway tunnel. We are preparing our compounds at Flax Bourton Yard and North Somerset Showground on Saturday night shifts throughout September, and mid-week nights from Tuesday 10 September until Thursday 12 September.
