1909/08 Questions from Members

Poole Thorn Farm - ongoing speed issues. Driving unsafely. Email Road Safety. Pie House Farm Mains Street Howsham - High Hedge causing vision issues on the highway.

1909/09 Parish/Town Precept Grant Items a) Parish Paths Scheme The Clerk outlined his concerns over the current officer in charge of the Parish Path Scheme and explained the current hold up in this years funding/payment model. He explained that he would go into a full review of the situation at the end of the year, specifically in budget recommendations, so that the whole issues could be explained in context and the best information could be given to the council.

1909/10 Correspondence Received from ERNLLCA concerning the annual conference, a chain of correspondence from local resident John Delaney and from Lincolnshire County Council concerning the Minerals and Waste consultation document the council participated in. 1909/11 Finance Accounts for Payment. See Appendix II

1909/14 Opportunity to Respond to Review of Polling Districts and Places Noting to add at this time though members of the public are welcome and encouraged to comment.

1909/15 Community Speedwatch Further to correspondence with Humberside Road Safety The clerk was asked to talk to the Newsletter and ask for volunteers ideally three from each village, there will need to be a designated coordinator you need to give a minimum of two hours a month. The Clerk was also asked to enquire about further information into Bigby’s scheme.

1909/16 Fly-tipping issues and options for enforcement After the Meadow View incident last month, the Clerk was requested to ask the Newsletter to write a friendly reminder that Fly-tipping includes garden waste, and is of course illegal after a number of complaints, of grass and hedge clippings being dumped. The Clerk was asked to follow up on the recent incidents.

1909/17 Humber and Wold Rural Council After a preliminary discussion, the Council asked The Clerk to more thoroughly investigate the advantages of joining the organisation. Meeting Closed at 8.17pm.
