Undergraduate Studies Academic Calendar 2021-2022 Published by the Office of the Registrar Tyndale University 3377 Bayview Avenue Toronto, Ontario M2M 3S4 Message from the Provost Welcome to the Tyndale community. Whether you are considering joining us or are already studying here, Tyndale University has been equipping each new generation to learn, lead, love God and love life for over 125 years. In every time and season we are called to answer the question of who we are, who God would have us be and how we may use our distinctive gifts and talents to bless the church and the world. Tyndale University is committed to supporting you as you explore these questions and pursue education and formation at the undergraduate or graduate level. Our prayer is that your time Dr. Beth Green at Tyndale will be one of fellowship, fun, challenge and growth and that you will graduate with a deep appreciation for truth, wisdom and character shaped by learning in Christian community. Blessings, Dr. Beth Green Provost and Chief Academic Officer Academic Calendar 3 Message from the Academic Dean In Matthew 22, Jesus imparts His greatest commandment: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.” Undergraduate Studies at Tyndale University strives to embody Christ’s calling in every discipline. Students will encounter subjects taught from a distinctly Christian point of view and engage with faculty, trained at prestigious universities from around the world, for whom Christ’s commandment resonates deeply within their Dr. Barry Smith person, their research and their teaching. We believe that to love the Lord our God with heart, soul and mind is to understand His story, a story of truth, hope and healing, to embrace it as a learning community, and to proclaim it to the world. Tyndale is committed to imparting this story to our students through academic experiences and community involvement so that they may grow in knowledge and faith and use their gifts to affect the community, church and culture around them.
