Marketing Strategy Proposal for Saxbys Coffee THM 3396
Marketing Strategy Proposal for Saxbys Coffee THM 3396 Marketing in Tourism & Hospitality Amanda Molinaro April 2016 1 Executive Summary Saxbys Coffee Company was founded in 2005 and currently operates at a small local level of 30 cafes nationwide. Our mission is to “Make Life Better” and we do this through our selective hiring and training process of staff as well as our unique company values. Our community values are one of our strengths which separates us from our competitors. Saxbys offers a wide range of healthy and dietary friendly food and beverage products from local companies, one of which is Trade Stones Confections. We are very active on social media with a large following presence. We provide our customers with a rewards program through our mobile app as well as an option to use the app as a payment method. We are concerned with sustainability and use 100 percent recyclable products in our cafes in order to appeal to our customers’ needs. Some concerns we have about our organization are our low brand awareness, inconsistency in cafe offerings, and negative online reviews. The everyday Saxbys customer is a millennial or on-the-go professional. Our cafes attract this market through our local coffee house feel, our convenient locations, and our healthy menu offerings. Trends among these consumers include increased environmental concern and awareness which has led to an increase in the “brew at home” lifestyle. Customers are also concerned with health and ethics regarding their food and beverage options which has led to a sharp increase in gluten free and dairy free lifestyles among consumers. -

Saint Joseph’s University, Summer 2010 Achieving a First: SJU’s Personal Connections to Professor and Students Doneene Damon ‘89 Rebuilding Haiti Feed the Hungry FROM THE PRESIDENT A little more than five years ago, Saint Joseph’s University embarked on Plan 2010: The Path to Preeminence, an ambitious strategic plan that would enable us to be recognized as the Northeast’s preeminent Catholic comprehensive university. Now, with so many of Plan 2010’s initiatives accomplished, we look forward to the coming decade from a position of academic and financial strength. Our academic position has been affirmed by the tremendous achievements of our talented faculty and students. U.S. News & World Report recently ranked the Erivan K. Haub School of Business Executive MBA program 20th in the nation. Additionally, over the past two years, four graduating seniors in the College of Arts and Sciences were awarded Fulbright English Teaching Assistantships, among other prestigious scholarships. There is also wonderful news about graduates enrolled in the Jesuit Volunteer Corps (JVC). Saint Joseph’s tied with Gonzaga University for having the highest number of alumni participants in the JVC. I am immensely proud that 16 alumni have committed to one year of living and working for others. Our successes do not mean that we will rest on our laurels, however. Saint Joseph’s is blessed with a robust planning culture, and after more than a year of intensive data gathering and planning, a framework for Plan 2020: Gateway to the Future has crystallized. The bold steps we take as we continue to expand our goals will focus on Plan 2020’s five initiatives: academic distinction and a transformative student experience; mission and diversity; global and community engagement; alumni involvement; and financial health. -

Big Brother Salm & Little Brother Jeremiah
Big Brother Salm & Little Brother Jeremiah a Letter from our ceo Dear Friends of Big Brothers Big Sisters Southeastern PA, I extend a heartfelt “Thank You” to our extraordinary donors, supporters, volunteers and staff who helped make 2014 a remarkable year for this incredible agency. Your generous commitment to our mission helps provide those critical resources needed to increase our impact and truly make a difference in the lives of at-risk youth in Greater Philadelphia. As I near completion of my second year as CEO, I remain as excited and optimistic as my very first day, perhaps even more so. During 2014, there were a number of accomplishments of which I am extremely marcus allen proud. Many of them are highlighted throughout this report. But as I spend more time CEO, bbbs Sepa in our communities and witness firsthand what is happening to our youth, I am forced to ask the question, “Are we doing enough?” The sobering reality is that Philadelphia has become the poorest big city in America. There are over 120,000 children in our region living in poverty, with 60,000 in families so poor they survive on less than $10,000 per year. Our local youth are confronted with deep-rooted issues such as mass incarceration, teen violence and the deterioration of our public school systems – issues that have become increasingly prevalent across our great nation. So, what is it that will mobilize our citizens to get involved? What is it that Big Brothers Big Sisters stands for as it relates to these issues that will, more than likely, come to each of our doorsteps if we don’t act? I believe the answer is, collaboration. -
