Team Notes 1. The LSU Captains were RB Nick Brossette, SNP Blake Ferguson, DE Breiden Fehoko and TE Foster Moreau. 2. LSU lost the toss, and Georgia deferred to the second half. LSU elected to receive. Georgia will kick off and defend the north end zone. 3. The attendance for the game was a sellout for the ninth time since 2014 at 102,321. 4. LSU defeated #2 Georgia 36‐16. a. Against the AP Top‐2, LSU has an overall 7‐22‐2 record and a 3‐11‐1 record at home. b. Against the AP No. 2 team, LSU holds a 5‐9‐1 record overall and a 2‐3 record at home. c. LSU now has the overall 17‐13‐1 advantage. d. LSU is 3‐1 against Top‐25 foes this year. i. Dating back to 2001, LSU has played 210 of its 228 games ranked in the Top 25, which includes 23 of 27 games under Orgeron. e. LSU has now won 21 straight games in the month of October, a streak that dates back to 2009. f. LSU has won nine of its last 11 games against SEC Eastern Division foes. g. With kickoff set at 2:39 p.m., LSU has now won 16 of its last 17 day games in Tiger Stadium. i. Nine of these wins have come against top‐25 teams and all 16 have been against SEC opponents. 5. LSU head coach Ed Orgeron improved to 21‐7 at the helm. a. He now has a 37‐34 overall record. i. He is 1‐2 now against Georgia. ii. LSU is 16‐7 as a Top 25 team under Coach O. b. In his last 36 games as a head coach, Orgeron has a 27‐9 mark, a stretch that includes a 6‐2 record with Southern Cal in 2013. c. With the 20‐point win against Georgia, 17 of LSU’s 21 wins under Orgeron have come by double digits. d. After a loss, LSU is now 7‐0 under Coach O after a loss. e. LSU is 15‐0 under Orgeron when featuring a 100‐yard rusher (6‐0 in 2016, 5‐0 in 2017 and 3‐0 in 2018). i. Clyde Edwards‐Helaire rushed for 145 yards. 6. LSU has won 19 straight SEC games when scoring at least 20 points, a streak that dates back to a 30‐27 victory against Florida in 2014. 7. LSU’s streak of 100‐yard rushing games has been extended to 24 as the Tigers ran for 275 total yards. 8. LSU now has a +9 turnover margin with two forced fumbles and two interceptions in today’s game. 9. After blanking Georgia in the first quarter, LSU has not allowed a first quarter touchdown in 11 consecutive games dating back to week 9 of 2017. 10. On his first offensive snap, sophomore WR Jontre Kirklin recorded his first career reception for 5 yards. Later in the first quarter, Kirklin had his first career rushing attempt for 2 yards. 11. For the first time this season, LSU started the same offensive line combination. LSU has had a different starting lineup in six of its seven games. a. Today’s lineup was the same lineup as it was at Florida: Saahdiq Charles, Adrian Magee, Lloyd Cushenberry, Damien Lewis and Austin Deculus (from left to right). 12. Individual Offense 1. QB is now 6‐1 as LSU’s starting . He finished the night 15‐of‐30 passing for 200 yards. a. With 13:34 on the clock in the second quarter, Burrow kept the ball on the UGA 1‐yard line and ran it in to give LSU the 10‐0 lead against Georgia. It was his third rushing touchdown of the season and fourth career (1 at Ohio State). i. Burrow’s three rushing touchdowns are the most in a single season by a quarterback since Brandon Harris ran for four in 2015. b. Burrow rushed for his second touchdown of the day, a 1‐yard run to give LSU the 26‐9 lead in the fourth quarter. i. Burrow’s fourth TD of the season matched Brandon Harris’ four in 2015, which is tied for most by a quarterback since Jordan Jefferson ran for seven in 2010. c. His run of 59 yards in the fourth quarter, which set up Brossette’s touchdown, was a career‐long. 2. RB Nick Brossette ran for 64 yards on 16 attempts with one touchdown, including a long rush of 12 yards. a. With 4:14 left in the game, Brossette ran for a 4‐yard touchdown to extend the LSU lead to 36‐16. i. The rushing TD was his ninth career. 3. RB Clyde Edwards‐Helaire rushed for a career‐high 145 yards. It was his second 100‐yard rushing game. a. His career‐long rush of 47 yards ended the first quarter and set up a touchdown three plays later. 4. WR had a career‐high six receptions for a career‐best 108 yards. It was his first 100‐yard receiving game. a. The sophomore had a career‐long catch for 50 yards. b. He is the first Tiger receiver with 100 yards this season. c. His previous bests were set at Auburn, where he had five receptions for 97 yards.

Defense 1. On 4th‐and‐9 at the LSU 14 with 3:23 left in the first quarter, S Grant Delpit forced a fumble by the Georgia kicker, and it was recovered by LB Devin White. a. It was Delpit’s first career forced fumble and White’s team‐best fourth fumble recovery. 2. LB Devin White led the Tiger defense with 13 tackles with 0.5 tackles for loss, one quarterback hurry and a fumble recovery. 3. DE Glen Logan recorded five tackles, one sack and had 1.5 tackles for loss. a. On the first drive of the first quarter, Logan dropped UGA QB Jake Fromm for a loss of 9 yards i. It was his second career sack. He now has 1.5 career sacks. 4. LB Michael Divinity Jr. had a career‐best seven tackles, one sack, one tackle for loss and one quarterback hurry. a. His previous best was six tackles which he did twice. The last time was at Florida in 2018. b. The linebacker dropped Fromm for a loss of 3 yards for his fourth sack of the season. He now has five sacks for 22 yards in his career. 5. CB Kristian Fulton picked off Fromm on the first drive of the third quarter, intercepting the ball at the UGA23. It was his first career interception. 6. S JaCoby Stevens recorded one tackle and recorded a sack on his first play of the game. a. He dropped Fromm for a loss of 10 yards for his first career sack. 7. S John Battle had eight tackles and intercepted Fromm at the LSU11 with 3:17 left to play. a. It was his second interception of the season and fourth career.

Special Teams 1. PK Cole Tracy was 5‐for‐5 on field goal attempts and 3‐for‐3 on extra points. He now is 16‐for‐18 as the Tigers’ kicker and 23‐of‐23 on PATs. a. The graduate transfer connected on a 33‐yarder with 9:32 left in the first quarter to give LSU the 3‐0 lead. b. His 36‐yard field goal with 11:22 left in the first half extended LSU’s lead to 13‐0. c. He legged out a 39‐yarder with 5:09 in the second quarter, and LSU nabbed the 16‐0 lead. i. It capped off LSU’s longest drive by number of plays since Oct. 25, 2014, vs. Ole Miss. It was a 15‐play drive. In 2014, the drive also ended in a field goal, a 21‐yarder by Colby Delahoussaye. d. With 3:04 left in the third quarter, Tracy connected on a 24‐yard kick to extend’s LSU lead to 19‐3. e. Tracy tied the school record for field goals made in a game with 7:20 left in the game. He booted a 30‐ yarder to give LSU the 29‐9 lead. i. The last time LSU recorded five field goals in a game was in 2010 against Mississippi State.

2. PK Avery Atkins handled kickoff duties for the Tigers. a. He kicked off nine times with eight touchbacks. i. Georgia’s Mecole Hardman returned the ball for 14 yards before S Ed Paris forced his first career fumble, which was recovered by Atkins, his first career fumble recovery. 3. SNP Blake Ferguson handled snapping duties for the 32nd‐consecutive game. 4. P Zach Von Rosenburg punted three times for 124 yards. He averaged 41.3 yards per punt with a long punt of 48 yards. 5. P Josh Growden recorded one punt for 40 yards to place the Bulldogs inside of the 20.
