Call to Order & Reports Meeting called to order by Andreau Degraw at 1:30 pm. Mission Statement Sandi Ryan read the Mission Statement. Meeting Check-In Approve Agenda Motion: To approve the agenda Moved: Sandi Ryan Second: Krista Meeks All in Favor – Motion Passes Approve Minutes Motion: To approve the December 18, 2019 minutes Moved: Krista Meeks Second: Lynn Bernheim All in Favor – Motion Passes Claims Experience Report YTD -see attached report Discussion regarding no-shows with Coalition Health Center (CHC). If the district decides to pass the no-show fee on to the participant, the account would be flagged at CHC and when they next make an appointment/walk-in, they would pay at that time. If it’s a no-show due to a medical emergency, the charge could be waived. The participant would call the CHC or FNSBSD to get the fee waived. If implementing this, there will be some lead-time letting participants know of the change. Old Business Implementation of Motion Connected Parker, Smith, and Feek logo chosen for FNSBSD benefits-wide wellness initiative. (Discussion on possible tiers of activity and prizes for Motion Connected) III. New Business Review of healthcare initial start time (Discussion) Regulations requiring that a new employee has 30 days to elect health benefits. If insurance coverage becomes effective prior to the 30 day window for electing coverage, then elections made would be retroactive, which is an additional administrative process. At next meeting, discussion on “Big 5 schools*” healthcare practices. Regarding any differences, also a cost estimate on impact to FNSBSD. IV. Good of the Order V. Meeting Check-Out Andreau Degraw discussed an early fall time-line for report that Jasmine Adkins-Brown requested, for the previous fiscal year’s information. VI.
