Eventually (after almost two decades of marriage), thankfully, we learned to compromise. So now, I watch baseball movies and baseball documentaries and baseball games with him, and he watches people find true love in romantic comedies with me. And the rom coms on this list? Are perfect for your date night at home (unless it’s your turn to watch the History Channel or the BBQ competition). All of these love stories are currently streaming, and each one should be a hit with both of you (no matter what genre each of you likes best)! Always Be My Maybe (Netflix) - Childhood friends hook up once, then don’t see each other for years. When they reconnect as adults, sparks fly. Stars Ali Wong and Randall Park. Falling Inn Love (Netflix) - A woman wins an old inn in New Zealand, falls in love with the man she hires to help her restore it. Isn’t It Romantic (Amazon Prime) - A woman hits her head and wakes up inside a romantic comedy. But what if that dreamy life isn’t all it’s cracked up to be? Stars Rebel Wilson and Adam Devine. Love, Guaranteed (Netflix) - A man hires a lawyer to sue the dating app company he says failed to help him find love. Stars Rachel Leigh Cook and Damon Wayans, Jr. The Lovebirds (Netflix) - A couple decides to break up but before they can go their separate ways, they witness a murder and find themselves running from the law and the bad guys while trying to solve the mystery. Stars Issa Rae and Kumail Nanjiani. Rated R for language and some violence. Man Up (Amazon Prime) - A woman takes the place of a man’s blind date, and hijinks (and romance) ensues. Stars Lake Bell and Simon Pegg. Set It Up (Netflix) - Two assistants of demanding bosses conspire to set up their bosses—and end up falling for each other along the way. Stars Zoey Deutch and Glen Powell. Sylvie’s Love (Amazon Prime) - A young woman working in her father’s Harlem record shop in the 50s meets a musician and falls in love. This one isn’t a comedy, but a beautiful, sweeping love story instead. Stars Tessa Thompson and Nnamdi Asomugha. What If (Amazon Prime) - A young man and woman meet, connect, and become friends because she has a boyfriend. But are they something more…? Stars Zoe Kazan and Daniel Radcliffe.
