Activity in the Midwest is certainly on April 20, 2015 the uptick and everyone seems to be getting busier. Workers from all parts MCA Board Meeting of our construction industry are in high demand especially on the field trade side. Companies are continuing to figure out creative ways to get more work Friday, done without having more resources. All in a day’s work. April 24, 2015 January ended with another successful MCA Awards Gala Event. This annual MCA Half-Day get together is a great event, and hits on two of our main values here at Seminar & Site Tour: MCA – Recognition and Networking. In total, there were 21 entries in five Communication & categories. February included a program that was a tour of the recently Leadership in the completed renovations to the Northrop Auditorium by JE Dunn. This was the MCA Choice Award winner at the Gala event. Construction Industry Our membership over the past several months at MCA is growing. We have Monday, had 2 new company members, 7 new individual members and 3 new student May 18, 2015 members; we appreciate all of our new members and welcome you to MCA. Our members are what make MCA an outstanding group. We have some MCA Board Meeting great and exciting things going on within MCA. We have gotten our Twitter account up and active. We have started reaching out to our members that Wednesday, are on Twitter, and will be looking to bolster our presence on LinkedIn. We June 3, 2015 are also looking to update content on our website and are currently looking MCA Annual Scholarship for people to join our Communications Committee to help with Social Media Golf Tournament and our Website management. If that is something you are interested in, or know of someone at your company that could help, get in touch with me. Monday, Looking out over the next few months, we have several great events coming. June 15, 2015 April 24th will be our 2nd Annual Half Day Seminar on Leadership and MCA Board Meeting Communication. We will be learning about those “Soft Skills” that college and the business world haven’t taught you yet. I would encourage you to Monday, get registered, and reach out to a non-MCA member and invite them to attend. Also following this Seminar on April 24th will be a tour of the Wells July 20, 2015 Fargo Towers in Downtown currently under construction by Ryan MCA Board Meeting Companies. June 3rd is our annual Golf Scholarship Fundraiser. It will be held again this year at Deer Run Golf Club in Victoria.
