Denise walked into the Crucible 10 years ago during a transition period in her life. Looking for the next thing, figuring out how she would fill her days, Denise decided to take classes at The Crucible and “that’s all she wrote!” She moved from student to volunteer, teacher to department co-manager. She especially enjoys working with metal jewelry- silver, bronze, and cooper. What she loves most about sharing her craft with Crucible students is that, “The Crucible has a community like no other. You can walk in and not know anything. You can stop in the middle of the space and holler that you want to make something you've never made and you don't know where to start. You will always find people who are willing to help you achieve your dream."
