• -------------------------------------------------------------------------BENJA~IITRA NETWORK---------------------------------------------------------------------- MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING Between VNUHCM - UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE, VIETNAM And BENJAMITRA NETWORK OF PRIVATE UNIVERSITIES, THAILAND Vietnam National University Hochiminh City - University of Science, Vietnam (VNU• HCMUS) and Benjamitra Network of private universities (BNPU) , Thailand agreed to enter into a formal collaborative agreement based on a foundation of trust for the mutual benefit and development of the two promotion of international understanding and goodwill. The current members of Benjamitra Network of private universities are: 1. Thonburi University, Bangkok 2. Bangkok Suvarnabhumi University, Bangkok 3. North Bangkok University, Bangkok 4. Rajapruk University, Bangkok 5. Southeast Bangkok College, Bangkok 6. The Far Eastern University, Chiangmai 7. Lampang Inter-Tech College, Lampang Article 1. We agree to become the member in Benjamitra network of private universities (BNPU). We will jointly develop some or all the following activities based on their respective academic and educational needs: a. Exchange of research materials, publications and informations; b. Development and support for distance learning courses; c. Organization of joint research programmes; d. Exchange of academic staff, administration and others; e. Development of common curricula in areas of mutual interest; f. Co-operation in student affairs and sports, cultural exchange, and student exchange; Article 2. The implementation of exchange based on this agreement shall be separately negotiated and determined by each university. Article 3. Nothing shall diminish the full autonomy of either institution, nor wail any constraints or financial obligations be imposed by either upon the other in carrying out the agreement. Article 4. The terms of this agreement is subject to revision or renewal by the mutual written consent of both parties. It is also understood that either institution may terminate the agreement at any time, although such action will only be taken after mutual consultation in order to avoid any possible inconvenience to all parties. 1 Article 5. The agreement is valid from the date of signature of parties listed below, for period of three years, and may be renewed before the expiration date by agreement of both parties. Article 6. This agreements is effective when the representatives of all parties have signed and dated the document. This MOU will enter into force when the representatives of all Parties have affixed their signatures to the Memorandum of Understanding. The language in this MOU is executed only in English.
