EXHIBITOR WELCOME LETTER Dear Exhibitor, Welcome to MWC Shanghai 2019, 26 – 28 June, at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre in Shanghai. We would like to extend our thanks to you for exhibiting at the show. This year’s event is set to be bigger and better than ever before as it gathers global industry leaders and facilitates business. Included in this pack you will find: Venue and Transport Information Registration & Opening Times Build-up and Dismantling Schedule Networking Event Shuttle Bus Schedule Exhibitor Services Health & Safety Rules Useful Information about Shanghai 4YFN Event 1 VENUE AND TRANSPORT INFORMATION MWC19 Shanghai will be held from Wednesday 26 to Friday 28 June 2019 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC), Kerry Hotel Pudong and Jumeirah Himalayas Hotel Shanghai. 2345 Longyang Road Pudong District, Shanghai People’s Republic of China *Please note the exhibition is going to be held in Halls N1-N5 and E6-E7 with the main registration and badge collection area at Entrance 2 and 3 (express access) of SNIEC. The map below should give you a clear idea on the most convenient way to get to the site. 2 How do I get from the airport to the venue? SNIEC is located half way between Pudong International Airport and Hongqiao Airport, 33 km away from Pudong International Airport to the east, and 32 km away from Hongqiao Airport to the west. A) Pudong International Airport --- SNIEC By taxi: about 35 minutes; around RMB 120 By Maglev line: Take the Maglev Train at the Waiting Hall of Pudong International Airport to the LongYang Road Station -> Change Metro Line 7 to Huamu Road Station (exit from Gate 2);Maglev price is RMB50 for single ticket; RMB80 for round- trip ticket By airport bus line: take lines No. 3 and No. 6 to LongYang road station ->5 mins taxi to Huamu Road (near Fangdian Road) or Change Metro Line 7 to HuaMu Road station (exit from Gate 2) ; about 40 minutes. By Metro: Take Line 2 to get off at Longyang Road Station where you can walk or continually interchange Line 7 to SNIEC (Huamu Road Station) directly; about 40 minutes; RMB 6 B) Hongqiao Airport --- SNIEC By taxi: about 40 minutes; around RMB 120 By Metro: Take Line 10 to get off at East Nanjing Road Station, then interchange Line 2 to get off at Longyang Road Station where you can walk or continually interchange Line 7 to SNIEC (Huamu Road Station) directly; about 1hr 20mins; RMB 6 C) Shanghai Railway Station --- SNIEC By taxi: Two places stand over 16km apart; takes about 25 minutes; around RMB 60 By Metro: Take Line 1 to People’s Square, then interchange Line 2 to get off at Longyang Road Station where you can walk or interchange Line 7 to SNIEC (Huamu Road Station) directly; about 35 minutes; RMB 4 D) Shanghai South Railway Station --- SNIEC By taxi: Two places stand over 20km apart; about 25 minutes; around RMB 70 By Metro: Take Line 1 to People’s Square, then interchange Line 2 to get off at Longyang Road Station where you can walk or interchange Line 7 to SNIEC (Huamu Road Station) directly E) Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station --- SNIEC By taxi: Two places stand over 35km apart; take about 40 minutes; around RMB 130 By Metro: Take Line 10 to get off at East Nanjing Road Station, then interchange Line 2 to get off at Longyang Road Station where you can walk or continue to the interchange Line 7 to SNIEC (Huamu Road Station) directly; about 1hr 20mins; RMB 6 3 Is there parking at the venue and is there an associated cost? There are several parking lots in SNIEC, in which P1 and P7 are the closest ones to our exhibition site. The parking price is RMB 8/hr with a maximum cost of RMB 64/day. Is there disabled access at SNIEC? Yes, the Centre has elevators and restrooms specially designed to accommodate the needs of the disabled. 4 REGISTRATION & SHOW OPEN HOURS Registration Area Opening Hours These will be included in your registration confirmation. Extended Hours Access refers to additional access rights on the event badge allowing the attendee into the venue before/after show hours in order to set up or prepare their Exhibitor’s stand. Early Access is applied primarily to the following pass types (exceptions can be made, particularly for exhibitors): Exhibitor/Partner staff Exhibitor Contractor Exhibitor VIP Exhibitor Gold Speaker Extended Hours is noted on the badge by a white star symbol similar to this Extended Hours does not grant 24h access to the venue. Any enquiries on registration, please contact our registration team via [email protected]. 6 BUILD UP & DISMANTLING SCHEDULE Build up and Dismantling Pass Collection Times Passes can be collected at SYMA desk located at the SNIEC Entrance Hall 2 (North) Date SYMA Desk Working Hour Saturday 22 June 09:00 – 20:00 Sunday 23 June 12:00 – 20:00 Monday 24 June 09:00 – 20:00 Tuesday 25 June 09:00 – 20:00 Build-up times and access Please NOTE that you and your contractor may only access the site for the day specified for your specific stand type as below. All exhibitors and their contractors must have the necessary pass to access the site for build-up and dismantling. The build-up and dismantling passes can be collected at SYMA’s Desk at the SNIEC, North Entrance and Photographic ID will be required when collecting your passes. The evening of Friday 28 June is only for removal of valuable items and hand carriables. No construction work is allowed on Friday 28 June. Date Times Schedule Friday 28 June 16:30 – 18:00 Once the hall is clear of visitors all valuable items and hand removable items must be removed from the hall. All shell scheme booths must be vacated by 18:00. Saturday 29 June 09:00 – 18:00 All shell scheme exhibitors and clients with shell scheme meeting rooms should note that the official contractor will commence the dismantling of shell scheme from 09:00. Dismantling of space only stands – all stand fitting materials, structures, flooring and carpets to be removed. Shell Scheme / Shell Scheme Plus / Meeting Room / Executive Meeting Room / 4YFN Startup Booth / 4YFN Startup Corner Exhibitors - Access during Build-Up and Dismantling The official MWC Shanghai exhibitor badges will be valid from 09.00 on Tuesday 25 June 2019. The MWC Shanghai registration desks will be open from Tuesday at 08.30 – 17:30 when you will be able to collect your official event pass and proceed into the hall to decorate and set up your stand/meeting room. The Hall is open until 22.00 for set up on 25 June. (Your official show pass can then be collected on the opening morning if you arrive after 17:30, 25 June). MWC Shanghai Exhibitor badge holders will be able to remain in the venue after the event closing time on Friday 28 June to commence dismantling until 18:00. All personal and valuable items are to be removed by this time. Space Only Exhibitors - Access during Build Up and Dismantling Any Space Only exhibitor personnel requiring access to the exhibition hall during build-up or dismantling must hold the correct pass. In order to gain access to the full Space only build up schedule (including access before 25 June) you will be required to submit a form to request a build-up/dismantling pass and submit to SYMA. Build Up & Dismantling Passes can be collected from the SYMA desk at the SNIEC Entrance Hall 2 (North) and a Photographic ID will be required when collecting your pass. The MWC Shanghai registration desks will be open from 08.30 – 17:30 on Tuesday 25 June. MWCS Exhibitor badge holders will be able to remain in the venue after the event closing time on Friday 28 June to commence dismantling until 18:00. All personal and valuable items are to be removed by this time. Dismantling of space only stands and the removal of all stand fitting materials, structures, flooring and carpets must be completed by 18:00 on Saturday 29 June 2019. What I need to do if need to work overtime? 24 HOUR WORKING 24 hour working at Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) is not permitted. However, any contractors/ exhibitors who, for any reasons, require to work overtime in the Exhibition Hall beyond the Exhibition open times should be aware of the overtime charges for which they will personally be responsible.
