Çatlak Film Movie 43 ÇATLAK FİLM MOVIE 43 KÜNYE Tür Komedi Dili İngilizce SİNOPSİS Çatlak Film / Movie 43 birbirinden bağımsız 11 kısa filmin bir araya getirilmesinden oluşan bir absürt komedi. PRODÜKSİYON HAKKINDA Birbirinden bağımsız 11 kısa filmin, konuları bağlayarak “Çatlak Film”de anlatılması aslında bir ilk değil. 1977 yılında kısa filmlerin bir araya getirilmesi fikri yönetmen John Landis ve senaristler David Zucker, Jim Abrahams ve Jerry Zucker’den çıkıyor. Ve absürt komedi türündeki ilk film olan “The Kentucky Fried Movie”yi yapıyorlar. “Çatlak Film” in oluşturulmasında da “The Kentucky Fried Movie”den esinleniliyor ve ortaya 11 kısa filmden oluşan absürt komedi türünde bir film çıkıyor. Filmin kastı oluşturulurken ajanslara senaryo yollanmış fakat ajanslar çılgın olarak nitelendirdikleri senaryoları oyuncularına iletme konusunda çekinmişler. Tanıdık oyuncu arkadaşlarıyla işe başlayan ekip zamanla filmin oyuncularını da toparlamış. Filmin ilk çekilen kısa filmi Kate Winslet ile Hugh Jackman’ın rol aldığı “The Catch” olmuş. Dolayısıyla da rollerini ilk kabul edenler Kate Winslet ve Hugh Jackman olmuştur. THE CATCH Yönetmen: Peter Farrelly Oyuncular: Hugh Jackman, Kate Winslet Kate Winslet kendisine anlatıldığı kadar mükemmel olan ama hiç tanımadığı bir erkekle (Hugh Jackman) akşam yemeğe çıkar. Bu erkek hem bekar, hem yakışıklı, hem de başarılı biridir. Bu kusursuz gibi görünen adamın sadece bir kusuru vardır. HOMESCHOOLED Yönetmen: Will Graham Oyuncular: Liev Schrieber, Naomi Watts, Jeremy Allen White Çocuklarına evde eğitim vermeye çalışan ailenin, çocuklarına yaptığı işkenceyi anlatan bir komedidir. Bu kısa filmi izlerken çocuğun acınacak haline kahkahalarla gülüyorsunuz. ROBIN’S BIG SPEED DATE Yönetmen: James Duffy Oyuncular: Jason Sudeikis, Justin Long, Leslie Bibb, Uma Thurman, Kristen Bell, Bobby Cannavale, John Hudgman Bir çiftin çöpçatan partisine katılmasıyla yaşadıklarını konu alan kısa filmde herkes kıyafetlerini bilinen süper kahramanlardan seçmesi gerekiyor. TRUTH OR DARE Yönetmen: Peter Farrelly Oyuncular: Halle Berry, Stephan Merchant, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi “Truth or Dare” yine birbirini tanımayan bir çiftin ilk randevusunu konu alıyor. Aralarında soğukluğu yok etmek için Halle Berry doğruluk mu cesaret mi isimli oyununu oynamak ister ve olan olur. Bu oyun ile birbirlerinin sınırlarını aşırı zorlayacaklardır. Josh Duhamel 14 Kasım 1972'de Minot, Kuzey Dakota'da dünyaya geldi. 1999'da kariyerinin ilk rolü olan, bağımsız film “The Picture of Dorian Gray” de, Dorian Gray rolünü oynadı. Ardından “All My Children” adlı dizide rol aldı. Leo Du Pres'i canlandırdığı rolüyle yardımcı aktör dalında Emmy Ödülü kazandı. “ Las Vegas” dizisi ile hayran kitlesini genişleten oyuncu ayrıca “Win A Date With Tad Hamilton”, “Turistas” filmlerinde rol aldı. Chloe Grace Moretz Kariyerine 7 yaşında başlamıştır. Oyunculuk kariyerine başladığı filmler ve tv serileri ise “The Amityville Horror”, “(500) Days of Summer”, “Diary of a Wimpy Kid”, “Desperate Housewives”, ve “Dirty Sexy Money” dir. Bu filmlerdeki oyunculuğuyla ile Young Artist Awards adaylıkları kazanmıştır. 2010 yılında oynadığı “Kick Ass” filminde canlandırdığı Hit Girl karakteriyle dünya çapında beğeni kazanmıştır. Ayrıca “Hugo” ve “Let Me In” filmlerinde rol aldı. Hugh Jackman 1968 doğumlu Avustralyalı film yapımcısı, oyuncu, “X-Men” serilerinde oynadığı Wolverine rolüyle tanınıyor. Buradaki başarısı ise oyuncuya 2005 yılında en iyi tek kişilik performans dalında bir Emmy Ödülü kazandırdı. Emma Stone Emily Jean "Emma" Stone 1988 yılında Arizona’da dünyaya gelmiştir. En bilinen rolü, kendisine Altın Küre adaylığı getiren, “Easy A” filminde oynadığı Olive karakteridir. Ayrıca MTV Film ödüllerinin sahibidir. Uma Thurman Günümüzde Kill Bill serisinden tanıdığımız oyuncu 1995'te Quentin Tarantino'nun büyük yankı uyandıran "Pulp Fiction / Ucuz Roman"ındaki rolüyle Oscar'a aday gösterildi. Aynı yıl Vanessa Redgrave'le birlikte romantik bir çalışma olan "A Month By The Lake"te rol alan aktris, 1996 yılında Ted Demme'in yönettiği "Beautiful Girls" ve Michael Lehmann'ın yönettiği "The Truth About Cats & Dogs" filmleriyle kamera karşısına geçti. Bir sonraki yıl Arnold Schwarzenegger, George Clooney ve Chris O'Donnell ile birlikte kamera karşısına geçtiği "Batman & Robin"de Poison Ivy/Dr. Pamela Isley karakterini canladıran aktris, Ethan Hawke'yle başrolünü paylaştığı "Gattaca"da ise Irene Cassini rolündeydi. 2002 yapımlı "Hysterical Blindness" filmindeki rolüyle "En İyi Kadın Oyuncu" dalında Altın Küre’ye layık görüldü. "Tape / Kaset"te gerçek hayattaki oyuncu eşi Ethan Hawke ile kamera karşısına geçen oyuncu, filmdeki güçlü karakter rolüyle dikkatleri çekti. Kate Winslet 5 Ekim 1975 Reading, İngiltere'de doğdu. Winslet 1998 yılı itibariyle, iki kere Oscar'a aday olmayı başaran en genç oyuncu ünvanını elinde bulunduruyor. Kate Winslet aynı zamanda ödüle beş kere aday gösterilen en genç oyuncu olmayı da başardı.

    Robert Wise’s The Day the Earth Stood Still Part I: A Religious Film? By Anton Karl Kozlovic Fall 2013 Issue of KINEMA ROBERT WISE’S THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL Part I: A RELIGIOUS FILM? Abstract Science fiction (SF) films have frequently been the home for subtextual biblical characters, particularly Christ-figures. Crafting these sacred subtexts can make the difference between an ordinary filmandan exceptional one. This investigation intends to explore the religious and other dimensions of the 1951 SF cult classic The Day the Earth Stood Still directed by Robert Wise. In Part 1 of this analytical triptych, the film’s reception as a UFO film with political, artificial intelligence (AI), police and philosophical dimensions was canvassed. It was argued that Wise’s film contains all of the above genre dimensions; however, it can bemore fully appreciated as a profoundly religious film wrapped in contemporary scientific garb. The forthcoming parts will explore the factual elements of this proposition in far greater analytical detail. Introduction: SF and Sacred Storytelling Historically speaking, science fiction (SF) films(1) have harboured numerous hidden biblical characters in typically covert forms. For example, Barry McMillan described many an SF alien as ”a ’transcendent’ being - a benign entity who brings wisdom and knowledge, the imparting of which brings resolution, insight and the beginnings of personal or political harmony” (360). Whilst Bonnie Brain argued that: ”The ascendancy of the aliens derives strongly from their aura of religious authority. Teachers, mystics, priests, or prophets, capable of ”miracles” and, in some cases, ”resurrection,” these aliens flirt with divinity” (226).
