Dan gaat het niet alleen over topprestaties van onze nationale teams, maar vooral ook over de ambitie en de ontwikkeling van onze sporten, de samenwerking en versterking met en van verenigingen, de aantrekkelijkheid van de competities en het versterken van onze organisatie. In het beleidsplan 2017+ zijn de ambities van de KNBSB vastgelegd. We kunnen terugkijken op een bijzonder jaar voor onze sporten. Een greep uit de successen: Winnaar van de Honkbalweek Haarlem, dames softbal 4e van de wereld, zowel Jong Oranje honkbal als softbal Europees kampioen, een fantastisch Little League kampioenschap met vervolgsucces in Europa, een minstens net zo mooie Beeball dag met meer dan 1000 deelnemers, de clubteams bij zowel honkbal als softbal succesvol in de Europacup toernooien. En dan ook nog het EK in Haarlemmermeer in nauwe samenwerking met Hoofddorp Pioniers en Vennep Flyers waar geholpen door schitterend weer ruim 21.000 bezoekers kwamen en die zagen het Kingdom of the Netherlands team live in het stadion of op televisie (met dank aan Southfield en Ziggo Sports) het Europees kampioenschap winnen. Het digitaal jaaroverzicht geeft een mooi beeld van veel wat we in 2016 hebben meegemaakt. Natuurlijk zijn er ook teleurstellingen en zaken die we beter willen doen. Dat is ook het mooie aan sport. Het is nooit helemaal goed, er blijven altijd zaken die kunnen verbeteren, die beter moeten om ook in de toekomst aan de top te komen en te blijven. Daar zetten we ons ook het komend jaar met volle overtuiging voor in. We hebben daarbij iedereen nodig om de Grand Slam ambitie waar te maken. Meer leden, vitale verenigingen, genoeg (goede) vrijwilligers, aantrekkelijke competities en topprestaties van onze nationale teams komen niet vanzelf. Bestuur Het bestuur bestond in 2016 uit de volgende leden: Ron Schel - Voorzitter Vacature - Secretaris tot 1-11-2016 Ruurd Koopmans Jan van Leeuwen - Penningmeester Joost Comperen - PR, Marketing en Commerciële Zaken Vacature - Breedtesport tot 1-11-2016 Karen Vroonhof Frits Mulder - Topsport Honkbal en Wedstrijdofficials Petra Arends - Topsport Softbal Het bestuur is in 2016 negen keer bijeen geweest. De twee tussentijds afgetreden leden moesten dit doen vanwege hun gewijzigde werkomstandigheden. De onderwerpen die daar onder andere aan de orde zijn geweest: Jaarrekening, jaarverslag en accountantsrapport Werving nieuwe directeur Uitvoering grandslam ambitie Opstellen beleidsplan 2017+ Voorbereiding en uitvoering congres Voorbereiding en uitvoering Bondsraad vergaderingen Commerciële zaken Versterking verenigingen en ledenwerving Communicatie Organisatie Europees kampioenschap honkbal in Haarlemmermeer. Evenementen zoals Honkbalweek Haarlem, Europacup toernooien, All star game, Holland series, Season Finals, Little league en Beeballdag Vertegenwoordiging bij internationale toernooien Competitiezaken m.b.t. honkbal en softbal, zowel topsport als breedtesport De nationale teams De komende verkiezingen van nieuwe besturen ESF en CEB en de samenwerking met WBSC Samenstelling bestuur en werving nieuwe bestuursleden door tussentijds aftreden. Organisatorische zaken zoals huisvesting 4 Het bestuur wordt ondersteund door het bondsbureau dat tot 16 mei 2016 onder leiding stond van Hans Meijer en vanaf 16 mei 2016 onder leiding van Bart Volkerijk. Het bondsbureau heeft, exclusief de technische staf, 18 medewerkers 11,4 FTE. Vijf medewerkers werken voor zowel de NBB (4) als de KNBSB (1). Op die wijze is er een slag gemaakt waarbij we meer kwaliteit en efficiëntie nastreven. De belangrijkste personele wijziging was het vertrek van Hans Meijer vanwege het bereiken van de pensioenleeftijd. Op 23 juni heeft de afscheidsreceptie plaatsgevonden en is Hans door het bestuur, de medewerkers en vele gasten in het zonnetje gezet. Ziekteverzuim Al jaren is dit buitengewoon laag en dat hopen we zo te houden. Scholing In 2016 hebben naast de deelname aan congressen, seminars en dergelijke door verschillende medewerkers, de accountmanagers een cursus gevolgd op het gebied van verenigingsadvisering en de communicatiemensen op het gebied van social media. Financiën De opstelling van het jaarverslag verschilt van 2015. Op aanbeveling van de accountant en de financiële commissie is er voor gekozen om duidelijker te laten zien wat de exploitatie is en welk deel vervolgens uit de reserves komt. Gekozen is om aan te sluiten bij in Nederland algemeen aanvaarde richtlijnen, specifiek RJk Cl. "kleine organisaties-zonder-winstreven". Hierin zijn inkomsten en uitgaven zo veel mogelijk separaat weergegeven en niet zoals onder eigen grondslagen gesaldeerd. Dit leidt tot verschillen in de opstelling. In de bijlage is een overzicht toegevoegd hoe de opstelling was in 2015. In de verdere analyses wordt uitgegaan van de cijfers op basis van het nieuwe stelsel. Voor het jaar 2016 was een begroting vastgesteld waarbij er een fors beslag zou worden gelegd op de reserves. Totaal was er exclusief een aantal taakstellingen bij honkbal en softbal, rekening gehouden met een tekort dat uit de reserves gedekt werd van € 490.000.Daarbij moet rekening gehouden worden met bedragen voor honkbal (€ 248.000), softbal (€ 82.000) en breedtesport (€ 160.000) die feitelijk uit de reserve komen en al in de exploitatie waren opgenomen. Door extra inkomsten van met name het honkbalprogramma, verrekeningen en zaken die ten laste komen van het EK honkbal en door het efficiënt omgaan met uitgaven is het uiteindelijk resultaat afgerond -\- € 175.158. Dit resultaat komt ten laste van: Bestemmingsreserve huur Huis van de Sport - € 4.123 Bestemmingsreserve honkbal + € 8.688 Bestemmingsreserve honkbal TO WBC - € 100.000 Bestemmingsreserve softbal - € 49.303 Bestemmingsreserve breedtesport - € 7.550 Bestemmingsreserve automatisering - € 22.870 € 175.158 Voor de details van de financiën verwijzen we u graag naar het financieel jaarverslag. Werkorganisatie In 2016 zijn de kolommen als volgt ingevuld. Roy Vink is als manager breedtesport en competitiezaken voorzitter van het kolomoverleg Breedtesport. Gijs Selderijk als technisch directeur voorzitter van zowel het kolomoverleg Honkbal als van het kolomoverleg Softbal. Zichtbaar is de grote betrokkenheid van verenigingen middels de cluster en doelgroep bijeenkomsten die vanuit de kolommen worden georganiseerd. 5 Het kolomoverleg Breedtesport bestond in 2016 uit: Cluster van verenigingen Cluster Amsterdam Jacqueline Veenhof Cluster Brabant-Oost/Limburg Joyce Benink Cluster Brabant-West Vacature Cluster Den Haag Bart Bakker Cluster Haarlem Helene Angermann Cluster Midden-Nederland Wil Kitselaar Cluster Noord Vacature Cluster Noord-Holland Vacature Cluster Oost Rob van Eck Cluster Rotterdam Jan Vlasveld Programmamanager BS / tevens voorzitter Roy Vink De belangrijkste onderwerpen die in het kolomoverleg Breedtesport aan de orde zijn geweest zijn reglementswijzigingen, implementatie Digitaal Wedstrijd Formulier, ontwikkeling softbal jeugd en verenigingsondersteuning. Het vaststellen van het Reglement van Wedstrijden 2017 2. Vaststellen Topsportcompetitie 2017 3. Licenties 2017 zijn verleend aan Hoofdklasseverenigingen 4. Opheffen Rookie League 5. Inrichting Overgangsklasse met toevoeging voormalige Rookie teams 6. Invoering van een League Bal 7. The schedule comprised more games than the previous season with the abandonment of the “Showcase Round” from the 2008/09 competition. Standard programming was for a Friday night game plus a Saturday afternoon/night double- header, however, separate games on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights were scheduled for Perth as a variation to this. Rained-out and/or postponed games were re-scheduled to be added to weekend programs for the return series between the same teams. At the conclusion of the 24 preliminary games played by each team the top placed team on the table was automatically qualified to host the best-of-three Grand Final series.     1907-1910 in September 1909 Nam De Voetbalvereniging Holland Uit

    (1907-1918) 1907-1910 In september 1909 nam de voetbalvereniging Holland uit Alkmaar voor het eerst deel aan competitievoetbal en schreef zich in voor de competitie van de Noord-Hollandsche Voetbal Bond. Het is niet bekend op welke datum de club in 1907 precies werd opgericht maar waarschijnlijk vond dat plaats ergens in mei van dat jaar. Het waren leden van vereniging De Halter (gymnastiek) die als onderafdeling de voetbalclub Holland oprichtten. Op zondag 9 juni 1907 vond op het terrein achter de strafgevangenis de eerste wedstrijd tegen U.D.I. plaats die met 5-1 werd gewonnen. Eind 1908 zouden ze dat openbare veld verlaten. Deelnemen aan een echte competitie was voor hen echter, gezien alle verplichtingen en organisatie die dat met zich meebracht, teveel gevraagd. In het eerste twee seizoenen van het bestaan speelde Holland alleen zogeheten serie- en vriendschappelijke wedstrijden. Het shirt van Holland was wit met blauwe baan en witte broek. Ingaande 12 november 1908 gingen ze spelen op het veld aan de Zandersloot dat Alcmaria Victrix (en daarvoor ook V.V.A.) ook al in gebruik had (middenveld oude paardenbaan) hun competitie wedstrijden maar verhuisden ze wat later naar een stuk terrein aan de Westerweg tegenover het veld naast de gevangenis. Op zondag 2 oktober 1910 werd dat terrein door de vereniging in gebruik genomen inclusief een eenvoudige afrastering met draad. Later werd dat het veld van achtereenvolgens A.R.C., V.A.F.C. en nog weer later R.K.A.F.C.
