(Budgeting Plan) (The Production Team) (The Benefits as Sponsor) (Sponsorship Packages) (Sponsorship Overview) (Previous Sponsors) (Further Information) Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana (UKSW) semula lahir dengan nama Perguruan Tinggi Pendidikan Guru Kristen Indonesia (PTPG-KI). Diresmikan pada tanggal 30 November 1956 dengan lima jurusan, yaitu Pendidikan, Sejarah, Bahasa Inggris, Hukum, dan Ekonomi. Kemudian pada tanggal 5 Desember 1959 diresmikan menjadi Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana. Saat ini UKSW memiliki 13 fakultas didalamnya, dan salah satunya adalah Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni. Fakulas Bahasa dan Seni (FBS) merupakan salah satu fakultas terbaik di UKSW yang telah mendapat pengakuan dan kepercayaan baik dari masyarakat maupun pemerintah. Ketiga program studi di bawah fakultas ini, oleh Badan Akreditasi Perguruan Tinggi (BAN-PT) telah memperoleh akreditasi sebagai berikut: Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris berakreditasi A (selama empat kali berturut-turut, Sastra Inggris berakreditasi B, dan Seni Musik berakreditasi B. Dengan mahasiswa yang berjumlah lebih dari 600 orang, FBS mampu membuktikan kualitasnya melalui berbagai kegiatan bermanfaat yang dihasilkan dari kerjasama antara pihak fakultas dan mahasiswa. Drama tahunan merupakan salah satu contoh kegiatan aktif mahasiswa dan dosen dalam mengaplikasikan ilmu yang telah dipelajari. Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana (UKSW) was once established as Perguruan Tinggi Pendidikan Guru Kristen Indonesia (PTPG-KI). PTPG-KI was legitimated on November 30th, 1956 with five faculties which were Education, History, English, Law, and Economy. Then on December accreditation for four times, the English 5th, 1959, Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana became official in replacement of the PTPG-KI. Nowadays, UKSW has 13 faculties under the university which one of them is Faculty of Language and Arts. Faculty of Language and Arts (FLA) is trusted by society and government and acknowledged as one of the best faculties in UKSW. The three majors under this faculty have achieved outstanding accreditation statuses from Badan Akreditasi Nasional Perguruan Tinggi (BAN-PT): the English Language Education Program has consecutively earned A for its Literature Program and Music program have both earned B for their accreditation. With more than 600 students, FLA is able to prove its quality through various activities with benefits as the result of a good cooperation between the faculty and its students. Annual drama performance is one of the examples of students and lecturers project to apply what they have learned. Pementasan drama berbahasa Inggris selalu menjadi salah satu agenda kebanggaan FBS UKSW setiap tahunnya sejak tahun 1995. Melalui pementasan drama yang segala persiapan dan pelaksanaannya dilakukan oleh keluarga besar FBS, serta bekerjasama dengan beberapa pihak, FBS telah mendapat perhatian khusus dari Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) dan Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) baik di Salatiga, Yogyakarta-Solo-Semarang (Joglosemar), maupun Indonesia pada umumnya. Tidak sedikit fakultas dan universitas lain yang juga belajar dari keberhasilan FBS mengemas pementasan drama yang selalu memikat dan meningkat setiap tahunnya. Tak heran, dengan pengalamannya memproduksi pementasan drama sejak tahun 1995, pementasan drama seperti “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”, “Lion King”, “Scarface”, “The Proposal”, dan yang paling baru “Romeo & Juliet” sanggup menghipnotis penikmat seni drama baik dari Salatiga dan sekitarnya, maupun dari manca negara. Dalam proses pembuatan drama, mahasiswa tidak hanya dituntut untuk mengembangkan ilmu yang telah mereka pelajari tetapi mahasiswa juga dapat mengembangkan keterampilan diri dibidang yang lain seperti musik, kerajinan, bermain peran, dll. Annual English drama performances in FLA of UKSW have always been the most prestigious and expected event since introduced in 1995. Through these drama performances in which the preparation and the realization are done by the big family of FLA with the helps from many parties, these drama performances have got special attention from many junior high schools students, senior high school students, and other universities in Salatiga, Yogyakarta- Solo-Semarang (Joglosemar), as well as Indonesia in general. In fact, the latest drama performance as if, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”, “Lion King”, “Scarface”, “The Proposal”, and the latest “Romeo & Juliet” was able to hypnotized play enthusiasts from Salatiga and its surrounding, even from abroad. During the process of preparing the drama performance the students are involved to develop their knowledge in English. Not only their English skil that were improved, but also their ability in another field as if musical ability, crafting, acting, and etc. WICKED menceritakan kisah luar biasa tentang persahabatan yang sulit dipercaya namun sangat mendalam antara dua wanita muda yang pertama kali bertemu sebagai murid sihir di Shiz University: si pirang nan populer, Glinda, dan seorang gadis hijau yang sulit dipahami, Elphaba. Setelah pertemuannya dengan The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, persahabatan mereka sampai pada persimpangan dan perubahan terjadi di kehidupan mereka. Keinginan Glinda untuk meraih popularitas membuatnya tergoda oleh kekuasaan, sementara tekad Elphaba untuk tetap setia pada dirinya sendiri dan kepada orang-orang di sekitarnya, secara tak terduga dan mengejutkan akan berdampak pada masa depannya. Petualangan luar biasa mereka di Oz akhirnya akan memenuhi takdir mereka sebagai Glinda the Good dan Wicked Witch of the West. Pementasan drama akan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 17 Mei 2019 dan 18 Mei 2019 di Balairung Utama, Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana. WICKED tells the incredible untold story of an unlikely but profound friendship between two young women who first meet as sorcery students at Shiz University: the popular blonde and very popular Glinda and a misunderstood green girl named Elphaba. Following an encounter with The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, their friendship reaches a crossroads and their lives take very different paths. Glinda’s unflinching desire for popularity sees her seduced by power, while Elphaba’s determination to remain true to herself, and to those around her, will have unexpected and shocking consequences for her future. Their extraordinary adventures in Oz will ultimately see them fulfil their destinies as Glinda the Good and the Wicked Witch of the West. Wit Humor in American Children’s Literature,” “Talking Animals and Others: The Life and Work of Walter R. Brooks,” and his recent “How Beautiful the Ordinary: Twelve Stories of Identity.” Cart is a Booklist magazine columnist and reviewer and a former director of the Beverly Hills Public Library.     Winkie Country The Winkie Country occupies the western quarter of the land of Oz. The people there prefer the color yellow. This land was previously ruled by a Wicked Witch, but her wicked ways left her so dried up that she dissolved when Dorothy splashed her with water. Ever since then, the Winkies have been ruled by their Emperor, the Tin Woodman. Bear Center "But there are no houses, there are no bears living here at all!" exclaimed Cayke. "Oh indeed!" retorted their captor, and raising his gun he pulled the trigger. The cork flew out of the tin barrel with a loud "pop!" and at once from every hole in every tree within view of the clearing appeared the head of a bear. They were of many colors and of many sizes, but all were made in the same manner as the bear who had met and captured them. -- The Lost Princess of Oz Bear Center is not inhabited by real bears, but stuffed bears of all varieties. Their King is a large Lavender Bear, who squeaks when his body is squeezed. It is considered rude to mention this when it occurs. He has some magical skills, being able to create images of things that he wishes to view, much like Ozma’s Magic Picture. He also has access to the Little Pink Bear, who can answer any question put to it when it’s crank is wound. Bear Center Characters All of the bears in Bear Center are stuffed, and so should be built with the Crafted trait, if not using the Crafted Folk template.

The forty-four volumes of The Baum Bugle to-date play an important rôle for the club and its members. Despite the general excellence of the journal, the lack of annual or cumulative indices, was soon recognized as a hindrance by those pursuing research related to The Wizard of Oz. The late Fred E.
