Chrysler : Ram Truck and the Ultimate Fighting Championship Team Up for Car Rally for Kids With Cancer and Highly Anticipated UFC 165 Fight Event

Canadian UFC lightwight fighter TJ Grant will drive in the UFC 165 branded Ram Truck in the Car Rally for Kids with Cancer

September 19, 2013, Windsor, - The Ram Truck Brand and the Ultimate Fighting Championship® (UFC®), the largest (MMA) league in the world, have teamed up for exciting events in and around the highly anticipated UFC 165 fight event in Toronto this weekend.

On Saturday, September 21, the 6th annual Car Rally for Kids with Cancer will be held in and around Toronto. Supported by philanthropic business leaders and celebrities like Eva Longoria and Gene Simmons, it has raised over $10 million for children’s cancer research, treatment and care at SickKids Hospital.

Joining the ranks of must-see automobiles and glitterati participating in the event, will be a top-of-the-line Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn and Canadian UFC fighter TJ Grant. The contender will ride in the light-duty pickup named 2013 North American Truck/Utility of the Year along the various stages of the charity rally route.

The Car Rally for Kids with Cancer begins and ends at Maple Leaf Square, just outside Air Canada Centre, the venue where UFC 165 is being held with and headlining the fight card.

Ram Trucks will also be at the UFC Experience at Maple Leaf Square on Saturday from 2-8 p.m. before the event begins. UFC Experience is a free outdoor fan festival. It will feature UFC interactive activities such as a fitness testing circuit including a punch machine, UFC photo opportunities with a UFC champion’s belt, autograph sessions with UFC fighters and Q&A sessions.

Ram will sponsor the event’s main stage and also display a pair of Ram Trucks and the Ram TJ Grant drives in the Car Rally for Kids. Plus, there will be prize giveaways and a chance to enter the national See it. Want it. Win it.
