Hamantashen Baking with Lisa Mincis This Sunday, 3/10 10:00-11:00 AM in the Stein. Professional baker Lisa Mincis will help you form and fill your own Hamentaschen to "take and bake" at home. Children and adults of all ages welcome. There is no charge for this event.

Jewish Center of Teaneck Mishloach Manot and Sisterhood Mishloach Manot Packing

Please join us for the Third Annual Sisterhood Mishloach Manot Packing, which will take place on Sunday, March 17th at 7:00 PM in the Jewish Center of Teaneck Boardroom. Please register for Mishloach Manot on our website. The cost is $54 to send Mishloach Manot to the entire community.

Payment must be made by March 11 to be included on the scroll of donors. Sisterhood Post Purim Spa Day

Please join the Sisterhood on Tuesday, March 26th, on a day spa trip to the fabulous Sojo spa. As many of you are aware, our wonderful Youth Directors, Rav Yishai and Yiskah Klein are returning to Israel this summer, after three years of service to our community. As we look for someone new for the role, our priority is to engage a couple with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, who have a profound commitment to , Tefillah, Chessed, and Zionism, and who will work to inculcate these values in our children through exciting and engaging social and education programming, every Shabbat and Chag, as well as during special events throughout the year. Beit Midrash of Teaneck (BMT)

The new Beit Midrash of Teaneck (BMT), located at the Jewish Center of Teaneck/Yeshivat Heichal Hatorah, meets on Monday and Wednesday mornings between 9:15 am and 12:45 pm. Beit Midrash of Teaneck (BMT) provides a uniquely interactive Torah learning experience for male retirees in a Beit Midrash setting. Doors open at 9:15 for source preparation in a Seder setting.

This week, seder begins at 9:15 am; at 10:00 a.m., Rabbi Ronen Dvash (Heichal HaTorah) will give a shiur on Gemara Brachot; at 11:00 a.m., Rabbi Dr. Moshe Sokol (Dean, Touro) will discuss “The Road Not Taken: Talmud Torah and Friendship in the Lives of Rabbi Yochanan and Ilfa” (Monday), and “A Rebbe, a Talmid and a Friendship Destroyed: The Life and Death of Rabbi Yochanan and Resh Lakish” (Wednesday); at 12:00, Rabbi Hayyim Angel ( University) will give a shiur on Sefer Haggai. Project Ometz

Project Ometz in conjunction with JFCS is starting a professionally led support group for parents of children with mental health challenges. Please forward to anyone you know who may be able to benefit. It will meet for six sessions on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month beginning on 2/26.
