Message from Our Rector Dear Friends Week Commencing Sunday 7th February 2021 ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ Message from our Rector Dear Friends. It was just over two weeks ago that I began as Rector of the Callington Cluster and I was installed by Bishop Hugh. On Sunday 7th Feb Bishop Hugh is joining us again for the 9.30am Cluster wide Zoom service hosted by St Sampson. There will also be a 10.30 Livestream service and a podcast. It is hoped that on the following week we will then begin a cycle of cluster wide services in two formats. The 9.30am will be for those who prefer Zoom whilst the 10.30am will be for those who connect better with a more contemporary family friendly livestream format. This is not to divide the Cluster but to unite it whilst acknowledging the different ways in which we connect with God and each other. This is temporary and will change again when we are able to get back into our church buildings to worship. So let’s use this time to get to know one another better and to grow together as disciples of Christ. Blessings, Joe ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ This weeks readings are: Proverbs 8.1,22-31 Psalm 104.26-end Colossians 1.15-20 John 1.1-14 and can be found on www.kelly-bray.co.uk/reading ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ Collect Almighty God, give us reverence for all creation and respect for every person, that we may mirror your likeness in Jesus Christ our Lord. The planning application is currently being prepared. We hope to submit it this Summer (2020). Plot sizes There are three plots available of approximately 3.5, 6 and 10 acres respectively - see the site plan below or view our online map. Final plot sizes will be confirmed at the point of sale. The site is made up of two fields - North Park (where Plot 1 is located) and Orchard Path (where Plots 2 and 3 are located). Anticipated completion date As the site is in a very early stage of development we are unable to give exact dates for completion because once we reach the planning application stage we must wait for the process to complete. We would like to have plots ready for stewards to move on site from Autumn 2021.
