While they walked each stretch - 9 miles shortest - 20miles longest - with their backpacks, their other luggage was transferred to their bed and breakfast accommodations. Some of the terrain was quite steep and although the track was well defined, it was not all easy going. They visited Glengoyne distillery, walked around Loch Lomond and visited the Drover's Arms, which is said never to have been cleaned for 100 years! The scenery was stunning (as we saw in his excellent photography) but Gary's feet were not too happy with the steep slopes at The Devil's Staircase (very sore toes). This did not deter him though, from deciding that the next walk will be The Great Glen Way - Fort William to Inverness. He will however, be wearing his new boots which are the correct size! 15.10.13 Waddingham Jubilee Hall Raffle Raffle Thursday Afternoon Entertainment 2pm to 4.30pm December 12th—Trev ‘Budgie’ Walton January 16th & February 20th 2014 23 24 Your Neighbourhood Policing Team PC 326 Martin DOHERTY [email protected] PCSO Julie MCFAUL [email protected] PCSO Angie RAPER [email protected] To report a Crime please call 101.
