I descend from the Long's, back to Thomas Long and Mary Bell in the 1700's. My direct line is through John Long and Anne Needham, who had more children than you have on your tree at present. Their son John (twin brother of George) died as a child and they had another son called John b.1889. I descend through his line. Anybody else out there contacted to the Long's as well drop me an e-mail!! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Name: samantha stark nee mumby : Email: [email protected] Date: Sunday, 12 February, 2006 at 21:18:25 Comment: im the great great grandaughter of naylor mumby north thoresby his son was henry naylor and his son my grandfather was clifford mumby it made me shiver seeing all my ancestors in black and white thank u so much ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Name: Jan Grantham Melchert : Email: [email protected] Date: Monday, 6 February, 2006 at 08:12:25 Comment: Hi Kevin, I belive we are third cousins. I notice you have a Bevis BENSON-BROWN "[18939] (details suppressed for this person)". I found you through Google. I'm looking into my family history and my grandfather's commanding officer in RAF Regiment Squadron 2742 from mid-1945 until June 1946 was Squadron Leader Beavis Benson-Brown. It is such an unusual name, I wondered if it is the same man you have listed. Are you able to help? Thanks, Ian ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Name: Greg Lewin : Email: [email protected] Date: Saturday, 10 September, 2005 at 17:11:49 Comment: Hi!, Notice you have a William Eaby Petch, daughter of Ann [Unknown]. Could this be Ann Eaby, bapt. Barrow 14 Oct 1826? She was the daughter of William Eaby, a wheelwright, and Mary Franks. William and Mary are my ancestors through their son, Francis. All the best, Greg Lewin. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Name: Richard Clark : Email: [email protected] Date: Tuesday, 12 July, 2005 at 05:17:27 Comment: Just checking the links you e-mailed me regarding Samuel Clark.
