5 Production process

OOO ServisMontazhIntegratsiya has production facilities, allowing up to 2000 units of annual manufacture. One of the advantages of OOO ServisMontazhIntegratsiya our own metal workshop equipped in a most modern way which allows to substantially cut production costs. The metal parts workshop has up-to-date highly efficient equipment. The workshop is designed to produce switchgear enclosures from up to 3 mm thick and 3 m long sheet metal and other metal ware. The workshop consists of the following equipment and areas: 1. TruPunch 1000 (medium format) and TruPunch 3000 (medium format) punching machines allow cutting items of virtually any geometry from sheet material and make forming operations (cold pressure welding, countersinking, Z-bending ... etc.) ensuring very high strength. 2. AMADA CNC Hydraulic Press Brake with the capacity to bend sheet metal up to 3m long. 3. AMADA CNC Hydraulic Shears with the capacity to cut sheet metal up to 6 mm thick and up to 3m long. 4. Semi-automatic argon arc welding line. 5. AMADA laser cutting machine with the capacity to process up to 10 mm thick sheet metal. 6. SIMOPRIME MEDIUM VOLTAGE SWITCHGEAR In 2008 our company obtained a license for manufacture of SIMOPRIME medium voltage switchgear equipped with Sion vacuum circuit breakers. SIMOPRIME medium voltage switchgear is factory-assembled and type-tested according to IEC 62271, VDE 0671-200, GOST 1516.3-96, GOST 14693-90 and designed for indoor installation. Application : 17.5 kV load networks with 40kA short circuit current, 3600 A busbar current. GUDIRA -5110 MEDIUM VOLTAGE METAL CLAD SWITCHGEAR GUDIRA-5110 is a switchgear with draw-out element, separate compartments, metal enclosed, with air insulation and short-circuit arc containment. Designed for use in industrial power supply and 3-phase AC 50 Hz distribution networks with 17.5 kV maximum operating voltage. Use of modern switching devices and a number of engineering solutions provide high reliability and maintenance safety of the switchgear. Excellent corrosion protection is ensured by use of zinc- aluminium coated sheet steel, as well as powder coating of doors and external covers and panels of the switchgear. LOW VOLTAGE POWER FACTOR CORRECTION UNITS Adjustable Power Factor Correction (PFC) units are designed to maintain a constant set point power factor value (cos φ) in electrical distributing three phase networks of manufacturing plants and other facilities for up to 690 V, 50 Hz. PFC units maintain a constant preset cos φ in periods of maximum and minimum loading and prevent reactive power generation mode. In networks with high harmonic distortions level with non-linear consumers exceeding 20% of the total load it is recommended to use PFC units, which improve the power factor preventing increase of current and voltage harmonic component. For networks with abruptly variable load the range of PFC’s is extended by thyristor type capacitor unit for systems with static compensation of reactive power. These units are equipped with thyristor starters instead of traditional contactors and are designed for rapid compensation of loads which are sensitive to voltage swings. For compensating constant reactive power we manufacture non-adjustable PFC’s. Power factor correction units have the following benefits: • modular design principle - allows gradual increase of rated capacity; • accurate adjustment of cos φ ( 1 kVAr minimum step); • specialized contactors with leading closing contacts and current-limiting resistors which extend the service life of contactors and capacitors; • self-healing capacitors able to seal themselves after insulation layer breakdown; • specialized controllers for automatic adjustment of cos φ with protection against harmonic distortions; • high breaking capacity fuses, connected to the busbar system; • compact and light-weight; • PFC units can be customized to client’s dimensions. MEDIUM VOLTAGE 6 (10) kV POWER FACTOR CORRECTION UNITS Adjustable Power Factor Correction (PFC) units for 6 kV and 10 kV voltage, 50Hz frequency, 150 to 10 000 kVAr capacity are designed to increase the power factor value (cos φ) in electrical distributing three phase networks during fluctuations of reactive power in industrial plants and other facilities. 6 (10) kV PFC unit functions: • automatic upkeep of power factor • protection against rated current increase • prevention of access to live parts under voltage • indication of capacitor bank current • emergency alarm during protection tripping • protection against under- and over-voltage • protection against overload by higher harmonic current PFC-6(10) units enable reduction of energy losses and increase of electrical installations efficiency simultaneously improving quality of electrical energy in companies’ networks. 6 (10) kV PFC unit distinctive features: • CPEFS power capacitors manufactured by «ZEZ SILKO», three-phase, designed for reactive power compensation. Capacitor electrodes are made of aluminium foil, dielectric is polypropylene film impregnated with special solution. The capacitors have built-in discharge resistors. • In order to improve reliability and provide protection against emergency conditions additional high voltage fuses are installed in the capacitor bank cells (according to PUE (Electrical Installations Code) cl. 5.6.20). • Modular design principle allows gradual increase of the unit capacity. • 6 (10) kV PFC units are free standing and are not included into 6(10) kV switchgears. 6 (10) kV PFC units and 6(10) kV switchgears are hooked-up by cable via a cubicles with circuit breakers and relay protection, which significantly improves operational reliability. • Low weight and compact dimensions. 1. Warranty and post-warranty maintenance of the equipment Our equipment has a factory warranty of 24 months from commissioning. On expiry of the warranty period OOO ServisMontazhIntegratsiya offers post-warranty maintenance services.

2. Personnel training and technical support to the customer during equipment operation According to the license agreement between OOO ServisMontazhIntegratsiya and SIEMENS AG our employees get regular training in training centres in Russia and abroad and have the right to train customer’s maintenance personnel and provide all the documentation necessary for executing the works.

3. Packaged supply of electrical equipment OOO ServisMontazhIntegratsiya carries out packaged supply of electrical equipment manufactured by Siemens and other companies.

4.
