Carlsson, 20, who is day-to-day with an upper body injury suffered on Friday, October 13 vs. the New York Rangers, is eligible to come off Injured Reserve on Saturday, October 21. He recorded an assist in four games this season prior to the injury and has 0-2-2 in six career NHL games with the Jackets since making his NHL debut at the end of last season. He also made his American Hockey League debut in 2016-17, recording 0-1-1 in three contests with the Cleveland Monsters. The Orebro, Sweden native notched 3-12-15 and eight penalty minutes in 92 career Swedish Hockey League contests from 2014-17. He was Columbus' second first-round pick, 29th overall, in the 2015 NHL Draft. Nutivaara, 23, has registered four shots in three games with the Monsters this season. He posted 2-5-7 with six penalty minutes and had a +7 plus/minus rating in 66 games with the Blue Jackets in his first NHL campaign in 2016-17.
