(PXN) The Borough of Villeray/St-Michel/ Parc Extension’s new mayor, Giuliana Fumagalli, is having her own special moment after winning in last Sunday’s municipal elections. The former labour union activist, Canada Post worker and Wiseman Ave. resident was still blown over with joy earlier this week when she was contacted by journalists. She said she had always been involved in work that made her aware of ordinary people and that she had never previously had the job of an elected official. The 47-year-old co-founder of a citizens’ group said she was grate- ful for all the support she received from local voters. OPEN EVERYDAY 7 AM TO 5 AM • FRIDAY AND SATURDAY 24 HOURS
