The Pathway House is a local homeless shelter located on Main Street in Black Lick. When homeless people come there (individuals or families) they have nothing more than the clothes on their backs. Sometimes all they need is a little help when they leave to get them started. During this holiday season, The Christian Mothers are taking donations to help supply their needs. These items can be new or slightly used. Here is a short list of things that the residents are in need of when they are getting ready to leave the shelter: Cleaning products, paper towels, toilet paper, soaps, hand towels, bath towels, wash cloths, pillows, sheets, blankets, silverware, glasses, dishes, pots and pans, brooms mops, and buckets. Collection boxes will be located at the Coral Hall and in the basement of the church at the Lucerne site. Final collection will be on Sunday, December 8. Any questions please call Rosemary Perry at 7249158044 or Toni Manfredi at 724248 9091. Donations can be taken directly to the Pathway House at any time during the year. Their phone number is 7242489555.
