Sulaymaniyah Food Security Cluster Meeting - Agenda

Bi-weekly Update by partners •WFP/ACTED cash assistance for April Cycle has been completed; 5,075 families received their assistance. •WFP/ACTED E-voucher assistance for April Cycle has been completed; 3,241 families received their assistance. •WFP/CDO In-kind distribution assistance for April has been completed; 10,602 families received their assistance. •WFP/WVI E-voucher distribution assistance in Arbat Refugee camp was completed. 1,076 families received their assistance, including 17 new scope cards. 12 no show cases were reported, as well as registering 447 complaints. •WVI reported that the issue of prices in the Refugee Camp market has been sorted out ever since WFP has fixed the prices at the shop. •The 104 families that were not included in WFP assistance program in Garyman will be covered with assistance by MoDM. •STEP the local NGO distributed assistance to 96 families so far in the areas of , , and Dukan.

•REACH the local NGO’s AA project distribution for Syrian refugees took place, 580 vouchers were distributed to refugees in the locations of Ranya, Halabja, Said Sadiq and Tasluja. The distribution point in Ranya was cleaned up afterwards. •BCF has received 800 rations to be distributed for host community in May. •BCF has distributed 2,382 food rations in Halabja, Sulaymaniyah, Bazyan and Qaradagh as a completion of their March distributions to host community. •ICRC are currently conducting assessments in Rania district, they project will be out of camps and will not be working in-camps. It’s unlikely that ICRC will do any food distributions. •Horizon will be assisting the 40 host community families from Komalay Hiwa. The assistance is 20kg food packages. •MoDM distributed assistance to 7,378 IDP families in areas: Sitak, Takiya, Qadir Karam, Aghjalar, Shoresh, Qurutu, Tanjaro, as well as Ashti IDP Camp. •MoDM will be covering camps on a monthly basis, as well as covering out of camp areas in a circulatory form. The assistance rations will be 22kg. •Food Security Cluster members were reminded that for any distribution activity, JCC and Food Cluster must be notified prior to the distribution. Also, to clean up the distribution points after using them.

 CDO to submit a report to WFP on the assessment they conducted at Qaratapa District..

 WFP to coordinate between STEP the local NGO and ACTED regarding the list of the excluded 35 families in

 REACH the local NGO will hold a meeting with Rania JCC focal points in order to improve coordination.

 JCC to support BCF in terms of distribution locations in Sulaymaniyah. BCF are required to submit a formal request letter to JCC regarding the topic.

 JCC to share the list of the most vulnerable families that approach the governor’s office for assistance with BCF to see the possibility of assisting them.
