BERKELEY PUBLIC LIBRARY, CENTRAL BRANCH 2090 Kittredge Street (510) 981-6100 The Central Library is an impressive example of Art Deco Moderne style that opened it’s doors in 1934. The library was fully remodeled in 2002, featuring five floors of services, including children’s, teen, arts and music sections, as well as a large community room.

BERKELEY CITY COLLEGE 2050 Center Street (510) 981-2800 BCC was founded in 1974 as part of Peralta Community College District. BCC offers a broad curriculum to all ages, including programs in biotech and multimedia arts.
