EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE Thomas Trotter is one of Britain's most widely admired musicians. The Class of 2004 excellence of his musicianship is reflected internationally in his musical Dr. Bill Hamner partnerships. He performs as soloist with, amongst many others, the con Tina Mowrer, SPCAGO ductors Sir Simon Rattle, Bernard Haitink, Riccardo Chailly and Sir ";{obert Raymond Charles Mackerras. He has performed recitals in Class of 2005 Berlin's "Philharmonie", the "Gewandhaus" in Kathleen Bolduan Leipzig, both the "Musikverein" and the Charles Collins "Konzerthaus" in Vienna and London's Royal Fes Darlene Reiner tival Hall. He has given the opening recital on new or restored organs in places such as Cleveland's Class of 2006 Severance Hall (Ohio), Princeton University Mary Hitchcock-Reinhart Earl Naylor Chapel (New Jersey), the "Concertgebouw" in Barbara Raedecke Amsterdam and at St David's Hall in Cardiff and he is regularly asked to perform on major historic COMMITTEE instruments such as those at St. Ouen in Rouen, St. Bavo's in Haarlem CHAIRPERSONS AND (Netherlands), Weingarten Abbey in Germany and Woolsey Hall at Yale SPECIAL SERVICES University. He appears at the festivals of Salzburg, Berlin, Vienna, Fern and Al Black Directory Editors Edinburgh and London's BBC Proms. He performs with leading orches tras such as the Vienna Philharmonic, Berlin Philharmonic, London Phil Dr. Barbara Raedeke harmonic and Royal Philharmonic orchestras and made his first US ap Educational Resources pearance with the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra in 1987. And he Mary Hitchcock-Reinhart was made an exclusive recording artist for Decca in 1989. Historian Thomas Trotter was appointed Birmingham City organist in 1983 in Denis J. Doelling succession to Sir George Thalben-Ball. He is also Organist at St Placement Margaret's Church, Westminster Abbey, and Visiting Professor of Organ Maxine McCormick, SPCAGO at the Royal College of Music, London. He was organ scholar at King's Professional Concerns College, Cambridge and later continued his studies with Marie-Claire Dr. Marcos Krieger Alain in Paris, winning the Prix de Virtuosite in her class. Alongside his weekly recitals in Birmingham, Bach's Orgelbuchlein and also for the Concordia Thomas Trotter has toured throughout the USA, Eu Hymn Prelude Series. rope, Australia and Japan, and has played at presti gious venues such as the Zurich Tonhalle, Amsterdam Mr. Pearce leaves the position of Director of Music Concertgebouw and Leipzig Gewandhaus as well at Organist at St. Paul United Church of Christ, many International Festivals such as Bath, Salzburg, Belleville, IL, where he served as organist, directed Edinburgh and the Proms. He has performed with the five adult choirs and handbell ensembles and ad leading orchestras including the Royal, the London, ministered the Fine Arts Series. He is a graduate of the Vienna and the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestras. Washington University in St. Louis, a past Dean of the Of his dozen or so recordings his Messiaen and St. Louis Chapter AGO, and a member and former Mozart releases were named Gramophone magazine's workshop leader of the Association of Disciple Musi 'Critics Choice', and a Liszt recording won a Grand cians.
