09 November Year 11 mock exams begin

There were many good performances with Poppy M winning the Year 10 race, Hannah M coming 2nd in the Year 7 girls race, Laurel P coming 2nd in the Year 11 race and Cameron S coming 3rd in the Year 9 race.

Our reception children will certainly be having lots of fun next term, with the start of the month teaching them the age old tale of Guy Fawkes and fireworks’ night. The children will be creating firework pictures, using junk model- ling to create rockets and setting off "fireworks" with science experiments. They will be learning a little bit about Guy Fawkes and following instructions to create our own rockets. Both classes will also be performing in the Halloween dance on the first Monday back, with the secondary school, to help raise funds for the Rock Challenge dance competition, which will take place later in the year. We will also begin the count down to Christmas! With the Christmas Market taking place on the 01 December, the children will be helping to decorate their very own Santa's grotto. Followed by the Nativity play and no doubt the return of the Candy Cane Post! A good Try! Strokes ahead!

The KS4 Swimming Gala took place on the 13 October at Wave Leisure in Lewes.

Competing against regional and national swimmers, our team did extremely well.

Congratulations to Aaron A Year 11 for winning all of his individual races. As a school we came 3rd overall.

Well done to Aaron, Poppy M, Travis H and Eliza W for their team spirit and great efforts. Netball Match Report, written by Year 7 Esme H | School Captain.

Last week the Year 7 netball team had their first two matches. On Wednesday 14th we played Ratton. Seeing as it was our first match playing as a team I think we played very well. It was a really closely fought match which we narrowly lost 1-0. The following day we played , having played a match the day before we played much better as a team which was shown in our performance. We won 7-0! Well Done to Natacha C for her great goal keeping which prevented the other team from scoring any goals. Congratulations to the whole team, let’s make sure we win the next match.
