Fort Saskatchewan Facility
Located in “Alberta’s Industrial Heartland”, Keyera’s Fort Saskatchewan facilities include an NGL processing plant, storage facilities and four pipelines connecting to the Edmonton Terminal. PROJECT HISTORY The NGL processing plant receives NGL feedstock from various sources and splits the NGL mix into saleable products. The 1972 Constructed storage facilities consist of underground storage caverns and 1985 Connected to Cochin, Peace and surface storage that holds NGL mix feedstock and specification Federation Pipelines NGLs. The pipeline system transports NGL mix to the Fort 1993 Dow Fort Saskatchewan tied in to Saskatchewan facilities and saleable specification NGLs from Fort Saskatchewan Pipeline System these facilities, as well as other NGL processing and storage facilities in the area, to the Edmonton Terminal for distribution to 2004 Keyera became operator markets and export rail, truck and pipelines. 2008 Truck facility expanded and leased fourth NGL pipeline between Edmonton Terminal and Fort Saskatchewan facility 2015 De-ethanizer and fourth brine pond completed 2016 Fractionation expansion and 14 th storage cavern completed
