Autumn Term 2021

www.facebook.com/torfaenACL www.torfaen.gov.uk/adultcommunitylearning

Welcome

I’m really pleased to present you with our Autumn Term 2021/22 Adult Community Learning Brochure.

The Welsh Government has announced new guidelines in regard to the spread of the coronavirus and positive changes are starting to happen. In the autumn term, we will continue to follow Welsh Government guidance and will be offering the majority of our courses face to face back in our Adult Community Learning centres.

We have put in place a series of measures as a result of the coronavirus outbreak to ensure we can still provide you with a wide range of courses, while maintaining the safety of our students and staff. Our adapted approach features an increase in online classes, further support with digital software, greater flexibility with continuing lessons, should this be needed, and smaller class numbers at our centres.

We are pleased to say that we have a wide range of new courses and workshops that you can join and study with us. The courses we provide are inspired by your feedback and that of our skilled and experienced tutors. With over 150 courses to choose from there is something to suit everyone. Whether you’re a beginner or want to improve your skills, gain a long desired qualification or just fancy trying a new hobby we’ve got a course for you. Please take time to browse our brochure to see what sparks your interest!

Getting involved in Adult Community Learning is a great way to meet new friends, learn new skills, and support you in developing your career.

We look forward to welcoming you and ensuring you get the best possible experience with us.

Councillor Jo Gauden Executive Member for Economy, Skills and Regeneration
