The Technical Specifications in Part II of this Invitation to Bid govern if there is a conflict between those specifications and the Oregon Standard Specifications for Construction . These bid and contract documents, specifications, and plans, although bound separately, are made a part of the complete document with the same force and effect as though all parts and plans referred to were under one binding. Should addenda to the specifications become necessary and be issued prior to the date of receiving bids, they shall be deemed a part of the Special Provisions. A día de hoy su música se ha abierto un hueco en un género en el que se encuentra como pez en el agua. Muestra de ello es su tercer trabajo, Sky Dancer, donde experimenta con estilos muy diversos. Por Cristina Peña igamos que el New Age no es el género con más seguidores Dentre el gran público, pero sin embargo, para ti fue un camino claro por donde dirigir tu trabajo. ¿Cómo tomas contacto con el género y por qué decides dirigir tus pasos en este sentido? Llevo este estilo dentro de mí y crear esta música me sale de forma natural. Con otros estilos tendría que esforzarme en componer. A pesar de no llegar a un gran público en España, el new age music tiene una ventaja, y es que el público a quien le gusta suele ser adulto, melómano, con mucha sensibilidad por la música. En definitiva, gente que respeta este arte y lo valora tal y como es. Este público es el que me interesa, me hace crecer y, gracias a su sensibilidad por la cultura, me permite vivir de la música. Otros estilos como el rock o el pop son menos exclusivos y no destacan tanto al ser más comerciales. ¿Hay hueco actualmente en el panorama nacional para un estilo como el tuyo, o te resulta más fácil exportarlo fuera de nuestras fronteras? Actualmente las cosas están cambiando en España.

    Miguelito Campoviejo, nos decían bromeando en clase de inglés. Mike Oldfield, uno de mis preferidos de siempre junto con Vangelis, Jean-Michel Jarre, Ennio Morricone y unos pocos otros grandes. Michael Gordon Oldfield nació en Reading (Inglaterra) y cumplirá 60 años el próximo 15 de mayo (por cierto: este artículo es de diciembre de 2012). Hace poco le vimos en concierto en las Olimpiadas de Londres, pero su último álbum (Music of the Spheres) fue creado en 2007. Realmente lleva unos cuantos años en los que me da la impresión de que, al igual que Jean-Michel Jarre, parece haber perdido el rumbo musical o bien estar buscando un nuevo estilo que no acaba de encontrar. Tampoco parece echar raíces en ningún sitio y, entre otros lugares, ha estado viviendo en Ibiza y Mallorca. Hace poco se publicaron varias reediciones “Platinum” de algunos de sus antiguos álbumes y ya está trabajando en un disco de rock. Hacia atrás, dejando a un lado recopilaciones y reediciones (y hasta una especie de videojuegos), “ Music Of The Spheres” (publicado en 2008) se podría catalogar como música clásica mientras que con “ Light+Shade” (2005), en mi opinión es uno de sus álbumes más prescindibles, y “ Tr3s Lunas” (2002) probaba con el chill-out. “The Millennium Bell” (1999) es una mezcla de estilos; “ Guitars” (1999) tampoco es fácil de catalogar en un estilo concreto. En realidad Mike Oldfield ha demostrado que se mueve bien en varios estilos musicales, pero siempre había un “ toque” de Mike Oldfield reconocible en cada disco que le daba cierta uniformidad a su obra… toque que se ha ido diluyendo en los últimos álbumes.
