The beautiful green, white, and red can be spotted hanging all around the city of Rome! When in Rome... Be sure to grab a yummy dish of pasta! It is common to find homemade pasta noodles and sauce. Pasta has been a staple meal in Italy for centuries! Finish your meal with some delicious gelato for dessert! Food is an importance aspect of Italian culture. The oval amphitheter was used for entertainment and held many gladiator fights. A Roman Gladiator Trevi Fountain The Trevi Fountain is a staple attraction in Rome! Many people visit the fountain and throw a coin into it for good luck! The Trevi Fountain was built in 1732 by Nicola Salvi. Sistine Chapel The Sistine Chapel is most famous because of its beautiful Renaissance frescoes painted by Michelangelo! It is the official home of the Pope in Vatican City.
