Introduction (1) In line with the requirements of the 1998 School Standards and Framework Act (as amended) this scheme has been drawn up by Cumbria County Council to co- ordinate admissions to all maintained schools and academies in Cumbria, except for entry to Year 12 and for entry to special and nursery schools, regardless of whether the Local Authority (LA) or the governing body is the admission authority.
