TH REE NEW HONORARY ~IEI~BERS ALBERT IMHOF DIES APPROVED BY BOARD David Burke reports that he has received word from Bernadette Heynen that her grandfather, Albert Imhof AMICA's Board of Directors recently conferred hon (grandson of the founder of the Imhof and Mukle firm) orary membership status on three recording artists passed away after a brief illness on July 5. He recorded a number of selections for several player piano roll companies under such labels as: Capitol, Supertone, Challange, American, and is responsible for many of the Capitol A, G and 0 88-note roll arrangements that are a delight of collectors today. The addition of these three artists brings the total number of honorary menbers in AMICA to 39. We are pleased to welcome these new members into our organi zation. Lois Snyder handles the voices and expression pedal on the Wurlitzer organ while the recently added roll mechanism does the easy part.
