Boys Tennis Year 8/9 Adelaide Defeated Glenunga Competition Glenunga International High School’s Lacrosse team played its first game in the school’s lacrosse competition against PAC last week. With only four teams in the competition, the boys are very keen to develop skills and enjoy the game of lacrosse. Glenunga was defeated 8-4 by PAC, but the game was very even and the boys lacked substitute players toward the end of the game. PAC had one excellent player and it was tough to keep him from scoring! Good luck boys for the remainder of the term, with games to be played against Adelaide High and St Michael’s College. Games are played at Adelaide High School from 4.15pm on Friday afternoons so get down and support Glenunga!

Come and Try Carnivals Glenunga has entered teams in many ‘Come and Try’ carnivals run by the Southern Zone, with the most recent being touch football, basketball and skateboarding (coming up this term). The aim of these carnivals is to introduce students to a new sport and to spend a day learning skills against other schools. These carnivals are always great fun and it is a fantastic opportunity for students to get out, be active and try something new.
