And some of these strengths translate very well resulting in Formula One action sim drilling rigs. One example of this is the functionality of Assetto Corsa's KERS, DRS and MGU. Many Sims now allow DRS systems (Automobilista, rFactor 2, RaceRoom and even recently GT Sport to allow open wheels to turn the van and get more direct line speed. Assetto Corsa allows card buttons to deploy MGU-H, MGU-K recovery, MGU-K deployment, and of course DRS. This one Level level puts Assetto Corsa ahead of many of its competitors for those who want to adjust their F1 engine to the Nth degree. Of course there are other sims that offer excellent open wheeled car formulas experience for sim racers. FSR 2 from the Formula Sim Racing team is an incredible experience. Like Formula Ultimate 2018 for Automobilista (it can be peeled with new liveries to look more like 2019 field F1 cars). But, no doubt, the Criminal Code stands out for some reason. I recently made a video about two big options for launching 2019 F1 cars in air conditioning, and this is my most popular video ever in terms of first week views. So the interest in the great F1 experience is definitely there. The two videos I featured were F1 Mania 2019, known in some quarters as ACF1, and 2019 ACFL cars. Both of which are excellent options, one is free, the other is paid. F1 Mania is a free option and at the time of writing they have only created 5 out of 10 F1 teams. Given that they don't charge money for F1 mods, this is a huge option. Some visual details aren't as rich as the paid option, but who cares? The ACFL is a somewhat controversial modding team. They create a great job, but source some of their design code is a hotly debated topic in sim racing. The charges were published in 2017, but in my opinion the issue has been resolved for the publications of 2018 and 2019. And there is no doubt that the whole package comes along nicely with the ACFL effort. I had a blast taking the car around the spa in the video below.

    ASSETTO CORSA COMPETIZIONE – CAR SETUP 1. Run with default aggressive setup Use the default aggressive setup and set the tires pressure to 27.5 psi at the front and 27.5 psi at the rear and adjust the camber to have from 6° to 8° difference between the inner and outer of the tires. When tire pressures are set up properly, the middle temperature will be right between the inside and outside temperatures. While you’re setting the tire pressures, you can set the ABS at 6. This will help overheating or create flat spots on the tires if you’re doing driving mistakes. For example if the damage level is set to 100%, you can create flat spots on the tires if they block during braking and if you’ve also active the limited sets of tires, then you don’t want that to happen. You have to perform at least 3 laps to get a stable pressure on the tires. Also the Pirelli slick tires will have maximum grip during the first 3-4 laps, and then they will have a sudden drop in grip and then they will stabilize and wear gradually and slowly.
