The Cannabis Spiritual Center was established in 2017 with the 238 page book: One Toke to God – The Entheogenic Spirituality of Cannabis that explores the cannabis connection between man and God.
The anthology of 30 essays and analyses by well-informed scholars and researchers into the long history of cannabis confirms its unique potential to connect one’s self with the God within every human being.
Cannabis Spiritual Center - a vibrant 501(c)3 nonprofit organization - takes the high road of scholarly research, like the Esalen Institute in Big Sur California, and the Paramahansa Yogananda Lakeside Shrine in Los Angeles, to inform seekers of the unique personal spiritual experience with cannabis to discover God within their own mind.
The administrators are seeking supporters to establish a decentralized, democratic, spiritual model that simply encourages free- thinking individuals to take one toke of high-grade cannabis, where legal, in the privacy of their home, using the twelve specific guidelines, once a week.
Our activities are overseen by a group of well-qualified and dedicated individuals. The diverse staff possesses the unique ability to relate to the growing demographics of legal cannabis users seeking a spiritual connection. Additionally, our Board of Directors is composed of talented individuals who have committed their time and resources to building a more enlightened society.
We firmly believe that CSC’s mission is perfectly timed to: 1) Catch the wave of cannabis legalization

Cannabis Spiritual Center will consist of three inter-connected geodesic domes with gold anodized aluminum struts and clear plastic panels supported by four massive pylons accented with wood paneling, a mosaic terrazzo floor, Persian rugs, glass doors and walls. The entry level will provide offices, meeting rooms, auditorium, private meditation spaces and the crowning Celestial Sphere for an out-of-this-world meditation experience.
Initially the CSC will facilitate online educational workshops to enlighten the community on how the spiritual experience can be enhanced by the use of cannabis within the 12 Recommended Guidelines. These one-day workshops will be led by informed professional researchers and/or experts who have obtained a Ph.D. in a relevant field.
In order to reach as many community members as possible, CSC will be open to the public and provide in-person education programs that will take place on a forty-acre property located in the Malibu Mountains. The physical presence will allow the CSC to finance cannabis research with weekly presentations, talks and workshops, special monthly events and the annual Soma Celebration. CSC will draw upon the greater Los Angeles population, frequent national and international visitors, and visionaries for an engaging, world-class agenda of noteworthy speakers for its many events, all of which are intended to further the CSC mission of exploring the leading edge of cannabis’ entheogenic use and to connect with the God within us all.
Supporting the development of body, mind and soul, the Cannabis Spiritual Center will assist as many individuals as possible with a thorough foundation for future spiritual success. Through continuation of our proposed activities, CSC will address the needs of our national community, brighten lives and remain committed to our spiritual values.
