This desk-based assessment was commissioned to support a planning application that has been submitted to High Peak Borough Council for the regeneration of the Business Park to provide offices, industrial/commercial premises, a showroom, and associated access and landscaping. The Derbyshire HER and NRHE record the entire site as being the southern-most extent of Edmund Potter’s Dinting Vale Print Works, at one point the largest calico-printing works in the world. The majority of the structures within the site were largely demolished by 2000, though one partial structure, in addition to several partial upstanding remains and boundaries of the works still survive in situ.
