Carleton won the first three games of the series before Saint Mary's 6-3 7-5 St. Benedict won a staggering 30 games in a row against the Knights from 1983-1999 and lead the series 36-8, Bethel 4-5 6-6 including wins in 19 of the last 22 games at Claire Lynch Hall, as Carleton has only two wins in its last 20 trips St. Thomas 4-5 5-7 to St. Joseph. Recently, however, the compeition between the two teams has been top-notch.
