The main offices (Central Bureau) of the GGD are located in an area where only paid parking (highest rate) has been implemented. Therefore we strongly advise you to travel by public transport or make use of the P+R facilities. The entrance of the STD clinic is located at Weesperplein 1 (around the corner of the GGD main entrance).

Route description By public transport: The GGD Amsterdam is easily accessible by public transport because it is very near toa large public transport intersection (Weesperplein).

• From Central Station: metro/sneltram (all lines), get off at station Weesperplein. • From Amstel Station: metro/sneltram (all lines direction of Central Station), get off at station Weesperplein. Take the stairs, escalator or elevator to the first floor and make your way to the exit named Valckenierstraat. When arriving at street level continue your way to the corner of Weesperplein/Nieuwe Achtergracht. At your right, just before the corner, you'II find the entrance of the STD clinic. Around the corner the GGD main entrance is about 50 meters (165 feet) to your right. lf you go by tram you can use either line 7 or 10, exit at stop Weesperplein. The GGD main entrance is located about 150 meters (500 feet) from the tram stop.

By car: • From the A 1 motorway Amersfoort-Amsterdam or the A2 motorway Utrecht-Amsterdam follow 'ringweg oost'. From the A4 motorway Den Haag-Amsterdam first follow 'ringweg zuid' and subsequently 'ringweg oost'. The ringweg ( = ring-road) itself is called the A 10. Leave the ringweg at exit Duivendrecht (S112). At the base of the exit go left, direction Amsterdam-Centrum. At the roundabout (Prins Bernhardplein) go right (Wibautstraat). Follow this to the Nieuwe Achtergracht (first street/canal directly past the Weesperplein).The GGD main entrance is about 50 meters (165 feet) to your right. • From the ringweg A 10, approaching Amsterdam from direction north, take exit Amsterdam- Centrum (S116). You will find your -self at the Nieuwe Leeuwarderweg. Just after leaving the IJ-tunnel keep to your left and continue under the cross-over to the Valkenburgerstraat and the roundabout (Mr. Visserplein). Now continue at the Weesperstraat (S112). You will cross 3 canals and at the fourth canal (Nieuwe Achtergracht) turn left. The GGD main entrance is about 50 meters (165 feet) to your right.
