He will always be known for that great hymn “Without Him (I Could Do Nothing).” I will always cherish his song “Crack the Sky” that he recorded with his band Broken Heart. He sings of the Blessed Hope and Paul wrote that we should be looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ in Titus 2:13. Paul states plainly in his letter to Titus that grace teaches us to look for the second coming of Jesus Christ. In Titus 2:12, Paul educates Titus as to what God’s grace teaches us: that we should deny ungodliness and worldly lusts, and that we should live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in this present age while wait for His return.
