Minimum crew size refers to number of tree planters/packers and not crew foremen. Western redcedar and noble fir are required to be evenly distributed throughout unit. Satisfactorily planted, as referenced in 4-21.03, includes the even distribution of species. For example, if 400 tpa are specified for the unit and 100 of them are cedar, then in a 50th acre plot there should be two cedar present. The Contract Administrator can identify excessive or missing species as "unsatisfatoraly planted". The exception is to concentrate cedar in wet areas, as directed. As referenced in 3-32, the minimum seedling distance between planted trees is 6 feet. Natural conifer should be ignored unless directed differently by the Contract Administrator. I I The Perennial Initiation Point (PIP) Pilot Project was created to collect baseline data supporting adaptive management related to water typing in headwater streams. The field sample protocol for this project was developed in order to identifY locations in streams I where continuous perennial flow and spatially intermittent perennial flow are found. In ( addition, the validity of the default 300-acre (eastern W A) basin area was to be tested, addressing one of the L-2 questions on CMER's priority list of unresolved issues.     Revised May 23, 2019 U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veteran Monthly Assistance Allowance for Disabled Veterans Training in Paralympic and Olympic Sports Program (VMAA) In partnership with the United States Olympic Committee and other Olympic and Paralympic entities within the United States, VA supports eligible service and non-service-connected military Veterans in their efforts to represent the USA at the Paralympic Games, Olympic Games and other international sport competitions. The VA Office of National Veterans Sports Programs & Special Events provides a monthly assistance allowance for disabled Veterans training in Paralympic sports, as well as certain disabled Veterans selected for or competing with the national Olympic Team, as authorized by 38 U.S.C. 322(d) and Section 703 of the Veterans’ Benefits Improvement Act of 2008. Through the program, VA will pay a monthly allowance to a Veteran with either a service-connected or non-service-connected disability if the Veteran meets the minimum military standards or higher (i.e. Emerging Athlete or National Team) in his or her respective Paralympic sport at a recognized competition. In addition to making the VMAA standard, an athlete must also be nationally or internationally classified by his or her respective Paralympic sport federation as eligible for Paralympic competition.
