MACRON JUNIOR LEAGUE

There was a massive surprise in store for the runaway league leaders in the Under 12 Green Division and title favourites were beaten fairly and squarely 4-2 by Youth to end their 14 match unbeaten run. On target for the winners were James Skirton, Alfie Robinson, Ethan McInnes and William Cook. Replying for the hosts were Gerwyn Roberts and Dewi Bailey.

Ruthin Town Youth secured a narrow 2-1 success over Park Albion with strikes from Jayden Parry and Peter Baldry with Harry Hewitt hitting back after being set up by Oscar Allen.

In the RED Division, there were goals galore at Ruthin Town who sent plucky Hope Dragons crashing to a 13-0 defeat courtesy of strikes from Dafydd Edwards and Leo Jones who converted a hat-trick apiece and completing the whitewash were Elgan Ellis(2), Finlay Mabwe, Harry Lewis-Jones and Jac Price adding to an own goal.

Keiran Williams bagged all 3 of the Lodge goals in their 7-3 reversal against Rangers who came good through Kai Wright who also produced 2 assists, Danté Robinson and Daniel Davies weighed in with double salvos with Nathan Wyderka and Jack Lloyd-Evans sealing the visitors success.

Rhos Aelwyd reversed their clash with United to New Broughton Rec and it worked a treat with them securing a convincing 4-1 success. On target were Oscar Allen who converted a penalty, Dan Lennon, Callum Hughes and Tyler Hughes with new signing Dafydd Bailey Williams reducing the deficit.

In the Under 13 league, leaders Borras Park Albion extended their unbeaten run to 15 games with a 8-1 verdict at Llangollen. Alex Whitby and Callum Taylor secured a hat-trick apiece and sealing their triumph were Theo Williams and Rhys Pedigrew. Snatching a deserved consolation goal was Jack Jones.

Cefn United were turned over 6-1 by Ruthin Town whose marksmen were Gruffydd Hughes- Owen who weighed in with a 4 goal salvo, Gwern Doherty and Gabriel Hinchcliffe. replied with a stunning shot from distance from Ahmet Kayn.

Jake Wilkinson and Leo Parker notched two goals apiece as FC Brickfield floored Brymbo Lodge 6-0 and making the points safe were Charlie Boyes and Ledley Jones who completed their tally.

Gresford Athletic were back on song and proved too strong for Chirk Youth and they ran out comfortable 10-2 winners thanks to Harvey Jones(2), Alfoe Prestsall(2), Harry Richardson and man of the match Efan Thomas who netted 4 of his sides goals. Alfie Penrose replied bagging a brace of goals for the visitors.

FC failed to raise a team so their clash at Borras Park Rangers was cancelled.

It was sensational stuff at Gresford Colliery in the Under 14 League were Borras Park Albion secured their 12th league win on the spin defeating Chirk Youth 12-0. Harvey Davies was a cut above the rest on view and netted 5 of his sides goals. Taking them into double figures were Jack Massey, Tom Evans, Farisal Asaf, Tom Jones, Iwan Bennett and Alex Whitby.

Bala Juniors were on the wrong end of a 10-0 drubbing against Ruthin Town and their marksmen were Charlie Gardner who fired 4 goals, Morgan Edmunds(2), Seth Dolben(2), Mei Williams and Luke Molmans.

Brickfield Rangers failed to contain rampant Coedpoeth United who ran out comfortable 9-1 winners with help from hat-trick hero Adam Thomas, Ralfy Challinor(2), Ben Griffiths, Callum Roberts, Jack Griffiths and Dave De Costa. Notching a lone consolation goal for Rangers was Vando Costa.

Corwen Youth had to can their game with Brymbo Lodge who failed to raise a team.

Rhostyllen came of age and whacked their hosts Penycae 8-0, star performer Tyler Morris fired a treble as well as having a large part to play in a further hat-trick converted by Joseph Reddington. Completing their tally were Kyle Williams and Ethan Pritchard.

In the opening round of the Under 16 Supplementary Cup, extra time was needed to split Coedpoeth United and Borras Park Rangers. It ended all square at 4-4 at the end of normal time with Rangers eventually progressing 6 -5 thanks to efforts from Kian Scott(2), Kiran Capper and hat-trick hero Evan Thomas. Plucky hosts Coed’y had made an impression through Connor Crowe, Ellis Thomas(2), Callum Roberts and Alix Pokrzywa.

Out go Gresford Athletic, they were pipped 3-1 by Borras Park Albion who shaded things through Luke Pugh, Iwan Hardy and Blessing Osilaja after Ruben Easdale had given the hosts a glimmer of hope.

In the league at Under 15 level, leaders Chirk Youth were pushed all the way before defeating Cefn United 4-0, on target were Griff Ellis, Terrell Nash(2) and Joisse Fernandez.

Johnstown Youth crashed to a 5-0 reversal against Rhosddu United whose nap hand was made up by Elijah Marvin and Ben Williams with 2 goals apiece added to by Oliver Scarsbrook.

In the inter club derby, Ruthin Town Youth defeated Ruthin Town Blues 4-1 courtesy of strikes from Charlie Tokarczyk, Ifan Tudor(2) and Harry Hewitt. Arthur King hit back.

There was a full Under 16 programme and leaders Penycae just can’t stop winning and they were comfortable 5-0 winners over Johnstown 5-0 and making up their nap hand were Harry Smith, Tom Smith, Mitch Williams and their jewel in their crown Jack Honey who bagged a brace.

Borras Park Albion knew they had been in a game when Rhos Aelwyd refused to roll over and many thought Rhos were worth a draw but Albion edged things 3-2 with a superbly struck hat-trick by Alex Palmer. The Rhos contribution came via an Ellis Rowland penalty and had levelled at one stage through Josh Jones.

Brymbo Lodge were at their best clinching a 5-0 verdict over Acton FC, on target were Connor Wells, Jack McNeil, Jack Hughes, Sam Colley and Kyle Adamson.

Ruthin Town Youth ended up all square at 2-2 against Chirk Youth who finished strong and a late double salvo from James Williams earned them a point after a brace from Oli Lennon.
