Jesus Said in Luke 4:18
Deliverance Jesus said in Luke 4:18 "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised." Sharing the same anointing by His Holy Spirit, I realized that we also have the same commission. Although I preached the Gospel, I laid hands on the sick and healed the brokenhearted; I hadn't moved out into deliverance ministry - but that changed after a mission trip to Europe! I know that it is no coincidence that while ministering in Vienna, I was trained by one of the best in the field of deliverance. It was truly awesome to see the change in peoples' continence and lives after being set free from demonic oppression. Sister Pastor Irene and I stepped out in this new phase of ministry in 1999. We are filled with such compassion to "set the captives free" when we see the control the enemy exercises over some peoples' lives. Many are oppressed by spirits of fear, bondage, and rejection, that had come in during childhood (through no fault of their own), or resulting from abuse by an family member. Jesus said in Luke 10:19: "Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you." He also stated in Mark 16:17 "And these signs shall follow them that believe: in my name shall they cast out devils..." There are seventeen "Strongmen" identified in the bible. -

Emphasis is on the use of film as a medium of protest, resistance, and cultural affirmation. Films will be discussed in the context of the complex issues surrounding race and representation in American cinema. Special attention will be paid to the preservation and restoration work of the UCLA Film & Television Archive's collection of African American films. GiVen the breVity of the quarter, the course is organized in three sections to coVer key periods in the trajectory of African American cinema: “Race Film” (silent and sound), 1970s Black film cultures, and 1990s to contemporary Black cinema. This 5-unit course satisfies the Arts & Humanities GE (Visual and Performance Arts Analysis and Practice) Course Objectives As a GE, the course aims to proVide students with the perspectiVes and intellectual skills necessary to comprehend and think critically about our situation in the world as human beings. I have come to understand that the Jetthiopian Paleo- Tetragrammaton ( yhwh =JEWE) that was discovered on the Mesha Stele or the Moabite Stone around 1869 AD was in fact the original one, and it was not just four letters that you add other letters too to compose the Orijahnator’s name, but it was in fact the full name of the Orijewnator’s name which is JEWE . The final letter in the name can be silent at times therefore leaving the root word ‘ JEW,’ and this full name can be compounded with other words to give different meanings such as, ‘JEW-EL ’ ( Jew is mighty) or ‘JEW-O-SHA-WAH ,’ ( Jew is Salvation ) etc. With the ‘ E’s’ interchangeable with ‘ A’s’ in the name it can be rendered JAWE or JAWA and with the silent ‘H’ added we get JAHWEH and JAHWAH and with ‘OSHA ’ added we get JAHOSHAWEH or JAHOSHAWAH and with ‘ L’ added to the name ‘JEWE’ we get the name ‘JEWEL’ and is not the Orijewnator a precious JEWEL ? Savoy and Regent Label Discography
Discography of the Savoy/Regent and Associated Labels Savoy was formed in Newark New Jersey in 1942 by Herman Lubinsky and Fred Mendelsohn. Lubinsky acquired Mendelsohn’s interest in June 1949. Mendelsohn continued as producer for years afterward. Savoy recorded jazz, R&B, blues, gospel and classical. The head of sales was Hy Siegel. Production was by Ralph Bass, Ozzie Cadena, Leroy Kirkland, Lee Magid, Fred Mendelsohn, Teddy Reig and Gus Statiras. The subsidiary Regent was extablished in 1948. Regent recorded the same types of music that Savoy did but later in its operation it became Savoy’s budget label. The Gospel label was formed in Newark NJ in 1958 and recorded and released gospel music. The Sharp label was formed in Newark NJ in 1959 and released R&B and gospel music. The Dee Gee label was started in Detroit Michigan in 1951 by Dizzy Gillespie and Divid Usher. Dee Gee recorded jazz, R&B, and popular music. The label was acquired by Savoy records in the late 1950’s and moved to Newark NJ. The Signal label was formed in 1956 by Jules Colomby, Harold Goldberg and Don Schlitten in New York City. The label recorded jazz and was acquired by Savoy in the late 1950’s. There were no releases on Signal after being bought by Savoy. The Savoy and associated label discography was compiled using our record collections, Schwann Catalogs from 1949 to 1982, a Phono-Log from 1963. Some album numbers and all unissued album information is from “The Savoy Label Discography” by Michel Ruppli. -

Gibson-Hudson), analyzes Lee's filmmaking approach from a cultural and historical perspective. The essay identifies Lee as a contemporary storyteller weaving his tales with the aid of a camera and demonstrates how his film narratives draw on both the historic and contemporary experiences of African Americans. The essay discusses five of Lee's films (made between 1984 and 1991) thematically, categorizing them under intra-racal issues and inter-racial issues. The bibliography (by Grace Jackson-Brown) provides citations from both scholarly and popular literature, encompassing newspaper articles, journal and magazine articles, chapters or sections from books, and reviews of films (most of the citations date from the last 5 years). The extensive 49-page bibliography is intended to be a comprehensive guide to literature that will assist students and researchers with an interest in Spike Lee. -

THE BLOOD OF JESUS 27 The Blood of Jesus Ephesians 1:7-12 “In Him we have redemption through His blood . .” (Ephesians 1:7). As we think specifically about the precious blood of Jesus, a “holy hush” falls over our hearts because we know that we are entering the “Holy of Holies” of the Scrip- tures. The centerpiece of the Bible is the blood of Jesus! Nevertheless, people today are horrified by the subject of His blood. Some claim that Christianity needs new sym- bols. Such a view impugns the intelligence and the char- acter of God, for God chose the blood of His Son as the means of our salvation! He made His Lamb the center of all history (Revelation 13:8). The cross is the place where we see how our sin hurt God the most; it also is the place where we see how God loved us the most (John 3:16). The theology of heaven is Christ-centered, cross-centered, and blood-centered. THE ENORMI T Y OF SIN No book in all the Bible clashes more violently with the modern mind than Leviticus. “How did this book get 111 THE AGONY & GLORY OF THE CROSS into the Bible?” we wonder. FREEMASONRY and the VATICAN A STRUGGLE FOR RECOGNITION Translated from the French of VICOMTE LEON DE PONCINS by Timothy Tindal-Robertson WHEREAS before the war it was little known or discussed, Freemasonry today commands an ever-growing and informed audience which has called forth much serious literature and has even provoked television documentary films which have aroused widespread interest. Freemasonry and the Vatican is the latest book dealing with an entirely new phase in the orientation of Masonry in the modern world. There is at present in Catholic circles a constant, subtle and determined campaign in favour of Freemasonry. It is directed by the progressive element which is currently enjoying a great influence in French and American Church circles and beginning to show its hand in England too. Its avowed object is to obtain from the Vatican the revision or even annulment of the various condemnations pronounced by the Popes upon the Craft since 1738. This element consists of a number of priests, including a Jesuit, Editors of Catholic newspapers and several writers of note. In this new work, Vicomte de Poncins emphatically reinforces the Church's condemnations of Freemasonry, which, as he shows, have been renewed more than six times since the Second World War and he quotes from authoritative Masonic documents, hitherto unknown to the English reader. Although the author is mainly concerned with Grand Orient Freemasonry, he treats in some detail the question of Masonic Regularity and Irregularity and the oft-disputed relationship of the Anglo-Saxon with the Grand Orient Obediences, and brings to light startling and valuable new evidence on the origins of Anderson's Constitutions and the Grand Lodge of England.
