We foster a sense of community and our older students keep an eye on and assist the younger girls if needed. When students arrive at Woldingham station in the morning there is always a member of staff on hand to escort them safely and efficiently onto our minibuses. For the first few days of each academic year we arrange for Woldingham helpers to be at Clapham Junction to make sure all students find the platform and train. They will also travel with new students to and from school. New joiners can be assigned a student buddy to meet them at the train station and help with the journey to school. Our Transport Manager is kept informed of any train issues and will be aware of delays and cancellations. We suggest students have the school phone number - 01883 349431 - saved on their phone in case they are late for some unforeseen reason. They can call reception to arrange a minibus to pick them up from the station. Students should not walk to school from the station on a school day. Students who are late must sign in at reception before going to lessons, or use the fingerprint system at Marden or the Millennium Centre. Shuttle buses meet trains arriving between 7.30am and 8.20am. They also take students to the station after school, picking up from Marden and the Millennium Centre between 4.00-6.45pm. Shuttle buses can be organised for other times, within school hours, by arrangement with year group staff. We ask for 48 hours’ notice, where possible. If, unavoidably, a shuttle is needed at short notice, please call reception who will be able to assist. Please do allow a minimum of 30 minutes. SATURDAY TRAVEL Station shuttles for Saturday fixtures and events are pre-arranged by the school. In the unlikely event that a minibus isn’t at the station to meet your daughter on arrival, please call Mr Richard Miller, one of our school drivers, on 07768 612350. Mr Miller is available on Saturdays between 7.30am-1.00pm. TAXIS The school’s preferred taxi firm is Catax. We offer a taxi booking service for parents to help manage the arrival and departure of your daughters. This is available via a web link on the Parent Portal app/website. SCHOOL TRANSPORT FROM SURROUNDING AREAS Buses run from: Banstead, Caterham, Kingswood, Reigate, Outwood, Purley, Kenley, Edenbridge, Crockham Hill, Keston, Hayes and Sevenoaks. A place on the school bus can be booked with Mrs Christianne James, Transport Manager, 01883 654154, [email protected]. Traffic and roadworks are regularly reviewed which may alter pick up points/timings as necessary. Parents are advised of any resulting alterations. These routes can also be booked on an ad-hoc basis subject to availability. The charge for a single trip to any location is £6.00 and will be charged to your school account. = Current routes = Train line London Victoria Clapham Junction Hayes East Croydon Banstead Addington Keston Purley Selsdon Kenley Coulsdon Whyteleafe Kingswood Caterham Caterham Valley on the Hill Westerham Reigate Godstone Brasted Sevenoaks Oxted Redhill Bletchingley Crockham Hill Outwood Edenbridge South Nutfield East Grinstead SHUTTLE BUS TIMETABLE TO AND FROM WOLDINGHAM STATION MONDAY TO FRIDAY To school: 07:30 – 08:20 approx (meeting trains between these times).
