Meet the school and university placements team who are here to help guide you from enquiry to confirming your place at a UK , college or university about Bright World Bright World Education Ltd and Bright World Guardianships Ltd are sister companies, both established in 2000 and dedicated to helping international students find places at UK schools, colleges and universities and safeguarding their welfare while they are here. Bright World Education Ltd is an education consultant specialising in helping international students find places at UK boarding schools, colleges and universities.

Bright World has developed strong relationships with schools and colleges over the yearss so we have a tremendous knowledge of the schools, the education system and most importantly how international students can make the transition between their education system overseas and ours in the UK.

We have excellent contacts with schools and understand the needs of international students very well. Schools fill up quite quickly during the academic year and we keep a careful note of the places still available week by week.

To apply, send us the student’s name, date of birth and latest school reports with any further requirements and we will suggest schools that still have places in the correct year group for you.

We will then guide you throughout the admissions process until your place is confirmed.

We are often asked how long an application will take to complete. This does vary according to the time of year you are applying, which school you are applying to and how quickly you get us the information we need. We promise to give you quick responses to your emails and phone calls and rely on you to give us the information we require quickly. We then endeavour to make the process as smooth and as fast as possible. There is no charge for our placement service.

GUARDIANSHIP

Once your place is confirmed, your chosen school will ask you to give them the name and address of your nominated guardian. If you do not have a family friend who lives in the UK you may need to select a Guardianship Organisation to fulfil this role.

We can then introduce you to the services of Bright World Guardianships should you wish us to continue to care for your child during their study period.

Bright World is a leading guardianship organisation and is both accredited by AEGIS, the Association of Educational Guardians for International Students and is an assured partner of Child Safe International.

Our suite of services includes superb support from our Head Office team, safe and reliable transportation, host family accommodation for short holidays when schools close, a bespoke Relax and Revise holiday course for half terms and Easter holidays, 24/7 emergency helpline and visits and mentoring support from our team of Bright World Buddies around the UK. a huge choice of schools The British Education System across the uk

The table below shows the standard system in the UK and that offered by the majority of the UK boarding schools with whom we work. A levels and IB are offered in the UK as the main qualification to gain entry to a British or indeed any university system globally.

The Bright World Admissions team will match your academic history, level and age group with the right course. The standard academic year begins in September and is made up of three terms.

Differences in school systems and insufficient level of English often means that some students don’t fit exactly with the traditional system. In this case we can recommend courses with flexible start dates and schools offering support.

English Language Preparation For all ages

Many international students do not quite meet the English language level required to enter a UK boarding school. Sometimes they also need to top up their academic qualifications before starting an A level or IB course in the UK. Bright World works with several boarding schools who have an International Study Centre on or near their campus to help these students prepare for entry to main school.
