Although we are unable to gather in person this spring to celebrate your achievements, we want you to know how truly impressed we are with your commitment and hard work. The true measure of a college’s success is the success of its students. Whether you plan to continue your education, begin a career or start a new one, I hope that your graduation from FRCC is just the first of many successes for you. I also hope you will take the time to say “thank you” to the people who helped you get here today—friends and family, teachers and mentors—all those who supported you, encouraged you and allowed you to learn. As you reflect on the people who have helped you, I ask you to think about how you can return the favor. Consider the ways that you—perhaps now or perhaps later in your life— can help others achieve as you have. On behalf of our faculty and staff, thank you for choosing FRCC. We are proud of your accomplishments and wish you the best for your future. Sincerely, Andrew R. Dorsey, President 4 Commencement 2019–2020 LARIMER CAMPUS FRCC Awards the Following Degrees: Associate of Science (AS) Designed for transfer into a baccalaureate degree program in a math or science field (e.g. engineering, mathematics, biological and physical sciences including astronomy, biology, chemistry, geology and physics). Each wears a gold stole on the commencement robe. Honors program Larimer Campus recognizes highly motivated, intellectually and creatively gifted at FRCC students who have worked with a dedicated group of faculty to achieve their academic goals. To receive the designation of “Honors Program Completion” on their transcript, students must successfully complete the Program’s seminar as well as a number of individual projects, presentations, and exams beyond the college’s standard curricula while maintaining a 3.5 cumulative GPA. Graduates wear a blue and gold entwined cord on the commencement robe. Graduation Honors Graduation honors recognize outstanding academic achievement throughout a student’s academic career. The honors are awarded to students who complete the requirements for an associate degree, complete at least 30 credit hours at FRCC, and earn a 3.5 or better cumulative grade point average (GPA) for com- pleted college level courses. The Graduation Honors are: • cum laude (with honor) 3.50–3.749 GPA • magna cum laude (with great honor) 3.75–3.99 GPA • summa cum laude (with highest honor) 4.00 GPA Due to publication deadlines, for the spring commencement ceremony, honors are publicized and recognized based on the completed coursework at the end of the previous semester (fall). Final honors (for diploma printing) will be determined after all grades have posted for spring. Summa cum laude graduate candidates wear a gold cord on the commencement robe. Honoring our Graduating veterans wear a red, white, and blue cord. The colors denote the graduating veterans valor, excellence, and sacrifice these individuals have exemplified in their ser- vice to the U.S. Armed Forces. A note about this Although we strive for accuracy, errors do occur. We apologize for any errors or graduation program omissions. Because of printing deadlines, the names included in this program were submitted for publication before all graduation requirements could be ver- ified. Therefore, inclusion in this program cannot, in itself, be considered proof that a degree or certificate was actually awarded. FRCC reserves the right to use, in future college publications, any photographs or video taken by college personnel during these ceremonies. 6 Commencement 2019–2020 LARIMER CAMPUS Summer Semester 2019 Associate of Science Andrew Christian Beck Matthew Robert Miller Hannah Marie Boicken Caeley Ann Neville ➌ Sarah Leann Haberman Jadon Andrew Roberts Liam Koch Amanda Rose Stracker Wesley J Kreeger Asher Claude Summers ➌ Tessaundra Ann Lamb-Smith Trenton Scott Wuerker Wesley Jackson McClintock Associate of Arts Sarah Nicole Baker Bethany Kaye Thomas Abigail Baldwin Nicholas J Trewartha ➌ Sarah Louise Blanton ➌ Mia Savannah Daniel Trujillo ➍ Justin Michael Brown Kailey Madison Eve Brown With Anthropology Designation Brittany L Bunn Alyssa Jane Alvarado Arocho Allyson Cartmell ➊ ➍ Julian Kade Coby With Business Designation Jessica Nichole Conley Priscilla Santiago Dullaghan ➌ Ryan Davis Ashley Mary Habros Elle Jayne English Morgan Rose Hughes Charles Gregory Erath ➌ Courtney Ann Sexton ➋ Dalvin Gabriel Deanna Noel Greene ➋ With Criminal Justice Designation Makayla Ann Harris ➌ James S Grant ➌ Rebekah Hawthorne ➊ Autumn Renei Oppie Kaetlyn Mackenzie Herider ➍ Acacia Alexandria Herman With Early Childhood Teacher Cole William James Education Designation Zachary Bennett Jones Mikaela Maytal Dalton Locksley Ann Kelly Charlotte E Kettner ➌ With Elementary Teacher Ethan Revson Kline Education Designation Matthew Lester Kragel Nicole Burdick Kendall Marie Krieger Jessica Laine Laubach ➌ With English
