The Digital Growth Programme is a £7.2 million project, part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund via the D2N2 Local Enterprise Partnership, that provides dedicated support to enterprises located in Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. Delivered in partnership with East Midlands Chamber (Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire) and local stakeholders, it aims to support SMEs to grow through embracing digital technology, ultimately improving competitiveness and productivity. The Programme runs until June 2019 and is contracted to deliver the following results: • 340 fully-funded workshops • 852 enterprises receiving at least 12 hours of support including 69 enterprises in their first year of trading • 128 enterprises taking up broadband with speeds of at least 30 Mbps • 639 enterprises supported to introduce new to the firm products or processes There is ongoing support from dedicated Digital Business Advisers and grant funding opportunities of £2,000 to £16,000*.
